Hotel California Miyakojima Resort is priced adequately to what you get and would stay there again.
Pros:

What I liked about the hotel was that the room was very spacious. Well-equipped kitchen and spacious bathroom with built-in dryer (the one mounted in the ceiling of a wet-room portion).
Room was clean, check-in/out was quick and effortless.
Nice touch was providing umbrellas in room (additional umbrellas were available in the reception).
Another pleasant surprise was that we got two sets of towels per person.

Cons:

The room was on the second floor of the building, with no elevator and narrow staircase. If you can't carry big/heavy suitcase or use a wheelchair, make sure you inform the staff in advance.
Rooms and the corridors had moldy smell (which is probably expected in such climate, but definitely more could be done to get rid of it).
Not a minus per se, but car is a must.

最高でした！毎日色んなビーチを梯子できて、海もお部屋も両方満喫しました。
Pros:

受付のスタッフの方がとても感じ良く対応してくださることが多く、安心して滞在できました。受付ロビーに子供用の小さな遊び場やボードゲーム・懐かしのファミコンのレンタルがある点、部屋に一台の洗濯機と浴室乾燥機の乾きが早い点がとても良かったです。広くて清潔で、空調も効き、快適に過ごせました。カリフォルニア調に整えられた景観がとても可愛かったです。

Cons:

チェックアウトの日だけ、小さな赤ちゃんムカデが2匹お部屋に出たときがびっくりしたのと、子供が刺されなくて良かったと少し怖かったです。

滞在型の宮古島を満喫。
Pros:

施設も綺麗で、快適に過ごせました。

Cons:

ホテルの立地が住宅街なので仕方ありませんが、特に夜の居酒屋が近くにないこと、くらいです。

De sfeer, de leuke houren huisjes waarin de kamers waren. Je kreeg meteen een vakantiegevoel dat werd versterkt door de ontvangst op de recrptie. Praktisch was de hotelbus vanaf het vliegveld. Ook fijn eas dat er een wasmachine stond.

Cons:

Het viel tegen om in de enorme hitte na hele lange reis met koffers de trap op te moeten zeulen. De kamer bleek bloedheet en benauwd. Airco stond (te) laag en zon had vrij spel op de ramen want gordijnen waren open.
Gelukkig snel WiFi zodat de vertaalapp de airco uitlegde. Rest van de tijd gordijnen dicht gehouden en het was aangenaam
Jammer dat niemand ons vertelde daar dat er een tyfoon kwam. We hoorden het pas omdat onze vliegtickets werden gecanceld. We zijn eerder vertrokken daardoor. Voelden ons gespannen, hadden hulp/geruststelling gewild.
Her viel tegen dat de beloofde fietsen wegens onderhoud niet gehuurd konden worden. We moesten daarvoor naar het stadje

Extrêmement déçu, chambre salle et personnel non attentionné.
Cons:

À mon arrivée, la chambre n’était pas propre, il y avait des miettes sur le canapé. J’ai montré une photo au personnel qui s’est excusé mais personne n’est venu vérifier ou nettoyer, je l'ai fait moi-même.

Concernant le personnel, une personne donnait clairement l’impression de ne pas vouloir nous assister. J’ai demandé de l’aide pour réserver un taxi vers l’aéroport, car je ne parle pas japonais. On m’a conseillé d’appeler moi-même le lendemain matin à 7h, j’ai finalement contacté un ami à Tokyo qui a pu effectuer la réservation en moins de deux minutes. Cette situation donne l’impression d’un manque d’assistance ou de compétence de la part du personnel de l'établissement.

お値段的に、良かったです。有り難う御座いました。
Pros:

脚が🦵悪いので、お部屋を1階にして頂いたので、とっても良かったです。　お部屋も広く使い勝手が良かったでした。

外食するのに、少し🤏不便かなぁ〜
