Ubicación perfecta, alternativa cómoda.
Pros:

La ubicación es fantástica. Se encuentra a 4 cuadras del área comercial de Escalante en la que hay muchas opciones gastronómicas y de entretenimiento. Adicionalmente, el área se siente segura para caminar (el cambio se nota cuando uno sale de la zona). Los apartamentos estan bien cuidados en términos generales y tienen todas las amenidades necesarias. Plus: el rooftop con jacuzzi (aunque no lo use) y área de gimnasio con equipo minimo pero nunca encontré nadie usándolo.

Schön, aber unflexibel und nervig, weil es vor Ort kein Personal gibt und die Kommunikation in weiten Teil automatisiert
Pros:

Ich hatte diese Unterkunft gebucht, um das Auto sicher parken zu können. Das hat auch sehr gut funktioniert. Tatsächlich gibt es so viele bewachte Parkplätze in San José, dass dies allerdings nicht wirklich relevant ist.

Cons:

Zum einen muss man selbst bei einem mehrtägigen Aufenthalt eine Zwischenreinigung selbst bezahlen. Zum anderen bietet dieses Hotel im Gegensatz zu sehr vielen anderen, also untypischerweise, keine Möglichkeit, sein Gepäck für ein paar Tage dort zu lagern, wenn man einen mehrtägigen Trip nach Tortuguero macht. Wir waren die einzigen Touristen, die mit ihrem ganzen Gepäck nach Tortuguero hin und wieder zurückreisten. Da das Hotel vor Ort keine Lobby bzw. Angestellte hat, gibt es auch immer wieder Kommunikationsprobleme, da, ohne Vorankündigung, nur über WhatsApp kommuniziert wird, oftmals auch mit automatisieren Messages, die gar nicht auf einen zutreffen. So wurden wir eines morgens aufgefordert auszuchecken, obwohl wir noch eine Übernachtung hatten.

Eigentlich gut.
Pros:

Wir hatten das teuerste Zimmer gewählt und es war grundsätzlich sehr gut ausgestattet. Toller Blick über San José und Geh-Nähe zu einem Restaurant-Viertel.

Cons:

Zu wenig Geschirr und Gläser für diesen Preis, wenn man mehrere Tage drin bleibt. Der teil-automatisierte Hotel Service per WhatsApp nervt und ist unflexibel.
