Lovely modern hotel
Pros:

The hotel and rooms were decorated nicely with a modern touch. The room itself was spacious as was the shower. The king size bed was comfy. The food at the restaurant, Lulla, was delicious and the location was a 10 minute walk from Penn Station, which made getting to the hotel extremely easy.

Cons:

I was charged for a meal that I did not have. Someone else charged their meal to my room when they paid for their food bill. I only had one meal at Lulla in which I charged to my room. I do realize this kind of occurrence is not isolated to this hotel, but it still left a bad taste.

Great value for money in NYC (which is generally pretty expensive for rooms). We had a 4 bunk room which was perfect for 4 single travellers as opposed to the usual 2 double bed option. Great location midtown right next to Flatiron Building and a short walk to Madison Square Garden and Empire State. Loads of bar/restaurants nearby and plenty of subway options to get around. Perfect for anyone trying to do NYC on a budget without compromising on comfort.
