IT'S TRUE WHEN THEY SAY YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! SO DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND PAY THAT EXTRA DOLLAR OR JUST DON'T BE SURPRISED WITH THE LEVEL OF SERVICE OR TRASH YOU ARE GIVEN!!!
So hubby and I decided to enjoy a couple of days vacation in Orlando before going back to work and we picked the TRYP hotel because of location and convenience. Well that was a costly mistake. Lets start with the hallways, it wreaked of weed! Its none of my business how anyone lives their lives but if I pay to get away then that should not be what I'm running into. That should've been a sign that this hotel was a huge mistake but I had already paid so hoping our room would've been different. NOPE!!! The room was filthy having human remains left uncleaned in different areas, hair laying around every where, white sheets had stains that not even bleach could take out and apparently babysitting service that didn't work someone or multiple people kept knocking on the door then running away.
We ended up leaving the hotel and booking a new room at embassy suites which had none of these problems the same night. I contacted corporate and the hotel.... they refunded 1 night but I still had to pay another due to their cancelation policies. Oh I forgot to mention that they labeled the filth as "mold" opposed to improper cleaning when I contacted the 3rd party to get a redund. Now I totally understand if we canceled for personal reasons of our own but that wasn't the case. We canceled because of disgust! After seeing the mess in the room, smelling weed all over the place and not able to rest from continuous disturbance, why would we continue to stay in such filth. Seriously? I mean would you feel comfortable brushing this mess off if you didn't have to? It makes no sense for me to have to pay additional room costs for an issue that was of no fault of mine.
This is a warning for anyone to not go throw what we did. Just pay the extra and save yourself grief.

The room was clean & nice just didn’t like the staff to much.

It’s was very clean, but it’s really small.

Cons:

The lady I checked in with was very rude & didn’t wanna be bothered, very unprofessional. I asked for extra towels to be sent to my room & when they did deliver them they left the room door open all day while I was gone luckily nothing was missing from my room & when I addressed the issue they acted like they didn’t care all they was worried bout was something stolen & I had all my jewelry in the room.

Clean, comfortable, and convenient, with just a small detail that could be improved.
Pros:

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Check-in was quick and easy, and we really liked the room and the walk-in shower. Overall, the property was well maintained and we had a pleasant stay.

Cons:

The only issue we had was that some of the shower dispensers, such as the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, were not properly refilled. This is something we’ve experienced at other hotels as well, but it can be inconvenient when you realize it only after you’re already in the shower. It would be great if these dispensers could be checked and refilled before each guest arrives.
