Sehr netter Empfang und es gab ein UpGrade....wir waren in einem Stock höher und das hat die Nachtruhe erleichtert!
Vielen lieben Dank dafür!!!
Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen..in Chania gibt es immer wieder neue Ecken zu erkunden. Elias ist noch gegen 22h ins Meer gestiegen :-)) Ich wusste halt wo es lang geht :-)

Perfect place, amazing location
Pros:

Lovely place, spotlessly clean in an amazing location central to everything. Just outside the door is a wonderful restaurant and it’s a very short stroll to the harbour. The bed was very comfortable, the room was ground floor, but we didn’t hear a thing.

Cons:

It would’ve been great to have a kettle in the room

A lovely building near great restaurants and shopping. A vibrant area of the city, but calmer for sleeping than the port
Pros:

Beautiful building, amazing location and extremely warm and friendly host. The bed was the most comfortable one I’ve slept on at an accommodation in a long time!

Cons:

It has great modern renovations. Minor details with lightbulbs or bathroom splash guard can be corrected. Overall, very large and comfortable.

Amazing place!
Pros:

We were completely amazed by this stay. The host met us personally, told the story about the building and adviced some spots to visit! He was really friendly and kind!
The view out of the balcony is amazing!
Everything was tidy and convenient, thank you so much for this special stay! Want to come back!

Nice room, extremely friendly host.
Pros:

The host was incredibly friendly and went out of his way to help me out.
Room spacious with comfortable bed and big bathroom. Great location.

Cons:

The location comes with a price- it is rather noisy, as people walk by directly in front of the window. So you need to have the blinds closed and aircon on, if you want some privacy.

Leider war das Bett nicht sauber bezogen, Haare und kleine Flecken.
Da das Gebäude sehr alt ist waren die Fenster leider auch sehr hellhörig und man hört den Trubel von draußen.
Darüberhinaus gab es im Bad an einigen Stellen Schimmel an Wand und Decke.

La camera è davvero spaziosa, con un'ampia terrazza. Il fatto di essere un po' rientrante grazie alla terrazza fa sì che non si odano rumori nonostante sia in pieno centro. I proprietari sono squisiti: Georgios mi ha subito offerto il suo ottimo Raki alla ciliegia, che dopo il limoncello bevuto al ristorante mi ha dato il colpo di grazia facendomi addormentare all'istante!
Fin da subito, sono stati tutti molto amichevoli: Anna ha pulito la camera in tempo record per permetterci di fare il check-in anticipato, Georgios ci ha sempre accolte con simpatia. Ciliegina sulla torta: la sera prima della partenza, Georgios ha regalato una splendida collanina a mia figlia. Davvero un pensiero gentile e apprezzato!

Great location, but small apartment with some flaws
Pros:

The location of this apartment is outstanding. You step out onto the street, and you are in Old Town Chania (pedestrian zone). This is really the main value of this apartment. And we loved walking in Chania Old Town at night.

We were greeted by George who was very friendly and tried to be helpful (see below regarding finding the apartment).

The apartment has a queen bed (comfy) and a sofa bed (single, also comfy and good mattress), but it is otherwise rather tiny. The bathroom looks like done recently and has nice tiles and looks clean. It's small, but it has a shower, sink and WC.

Cons:

Since the apartment is in the pedestrian zone, you cannot park a car to unload. We found a paid parking garage (Cane parking) nearby, but it costs € 27 per night max. The walk from there to the apartment could be 10 minutes, but using Apple Maps with the address was totally misleading. It sends you into the pedestrian zone and had us ending up in front of a Nike store. I called the number and reached George, who tried to explain, but we were lost again and again, until somebody from a store was so friendly as to find the place while my daughters waited with the heavy luggage. By that time I was rather frustrated (and drenched in sweat). It turns out that you MUST USE google maps (NOT APPLE maps), to get reasonable directions. The overall experience of finding this apartment could be much, much improved with some screenshots of maps and directions, as well as pictures of the apartment's exterior and the surrounding restaurants. This frustrating experience was totally unnecessary. I have seen many occasions when hosts provide great screenshots or short videos up front, which makes it really easy to find a place. Also, the instructions on where the keys are to be found came really late (it is too late if that is done 24 hours before, as most people are traveling and often don't have internet access at that time).

The apartment is rather tiny. The kitchen area is much smaller than it appears in the pictures. The kitchen area is tiny and only has a fridge and a sink. It has a balcony (with a table and 4 chairs, though the table is somewhat worn) and a clothes-drying rack, but there is NO shade on the balcony, so it is unusable during the day. The shower drain in the bathroom is not functional, it has the water back up within seconds. The shower glass is not covering enough and the water from the shower spills into the bathroom floor even if one tries hardest to squeeze into the corner and avoid that. You end up with a totally flooded bathroom floor.
