Beautiful
It was a bout too hot
The location
Lack of tidying up at breakfast time, a lack of coordination with the staff.
The blinds in the room were broken and let in light
Very clean rooms. Staff were very helpful. I liked the room size and it had everything I needed. I even managed to bags one of the free car park spaces (there are 6). The breakfast was really lovely and the lady taking orders was very helpful.
I went during the heatwave and there was no air conditioning. There was a large fan in the room which was good. However, I had an uncomfortable sleep with a 6 hour drive the next day. Other than this, the hotel is perfect so I would definitely come back under normal weather conditions.
Great location and easy access to shops etc
Room was a little grubby, found several chocolates around that had been discarded and not cleaned. Cobwebs in the corners, carpet had some minor stains and walls were scuffed.
No toilet roll holder and part used rolls were just left on the radiator.
Desk unfit for working, chair too low and desk too high.
Understand the hotel is trying to be a little " boutique " but was very dark and oppressive upon entry and throughout.
Beautiful, sumptuous hotel - very clean with a comfortable bed. Lovely, healthy breakfast with a good choice of items on offer. Perfectly situated in the centre of Huddersfield. Great for a show at Huddersfield Town Hall - it is directly opposite the hotel. A good night's sleep is guaranteed, it was very peaceful and quiet. Staff were polite and friendly.

Conveniently sited for town hall where we were attending a concert. Short walk to town centre too. Nice pub next door.
Hotel was nicely situated, clean and provided a fantastic breakfast. Only issue we had was the lack of air conditioning and the weather was extremely hot (30+ degrees)!! Difficult to sleep in them temperatures.

Its limited parking but you can generally get parked there, if not there is a paid for car park net door that can be used.
A hidden gem. We travelled to visit the Rat and Ratchett pub and it was only a short walk away. The hotel was perfect in every regard. Thank you.
Nothing, everything was great.
Was a nice enough hotel in a central location. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful.
Room was smaller than made to look in photos and was way too warm. A fan was provided but did little to help sleep comfortably. Breakfast was underwhelming.
