Great location
Breakfast quality was variable over the two days that we stayed, generally tasty and sufficiently filling however. Room decently sized and appointed. Proximity to pedestrian zone was nice.
Some front desk staff welcoming and cheery, while other reception staff made us feel less welcome by their tone of requiring a credit card preauthorisation for potential mini-bar use AND as a security deposit for any damage (guilty before later proven innocent). Repeated hesitancy to welcome a gay couple.

No lounge area to relax or meet friends in
Good location for my trip.
No on site parking and then was led to believe that they had reduced parking with Q park to reduce parking costs significantly. This is only true if you pre book parking. No one mentioned that when checking in so parking cost £29.50 hotel room was £33!!
Staff who were clueless at reception are to blame they told us to use the code when leaving the car park. Train your staff.
