Pros:

The room was spacious and very comfortable. The location was in the heart of the city but the room was very quiet so we had a great night's sleep.

Cons:

Breakfast was very poor, nothing like what you would expect from a 5 star hotel. The lack of choice was one thing but the quality of the food was also poor - insipid cheap cornflakes, tasteless cheap sausages. I have had far better breakfasts in youth hostels in England. The decor in the dining room was drab and dark so we decided to sit outside but smoking is permitted at those tables so we chose to move back inside; I do appreciate that the permitted smoking is probably a cultural norm so that's fair enough but please improve your dining room so that it's a more appealing place to eat.

Excellent Hotel – Highly Recommended
Pros:

Excellent Hotel – Highly Recommended

Golden Palace Hotel in Shkodër is an excellent hotel with outstanding service. The staff are professional, friendly, extremely helpful, and always ready to assist. The quality of the services and the overall experience were excellent.

A special thank you to several members of the team, both at the reception and in the restaurant, who were exceptionally kind, helpful, and professional throughout my stay. Unfortunately, I do not know all of their names, so please forgive me for not mentioning them individually — but their excellent hospitality was truly appreciated and will be remembered.

I strongly recommend Golden Palace Hotel to anyone visiting Shkodër.

Thank you to the entire team for everything. Highly recommended! 10/10.

A great location, walking distance to traditional restaurants and the pedestrians streets. We adored the staff who went
Pros:

Our favorite part of the stay was the location and the staff. They agreed to watch our luggage for 4 days while we hiked Teth-Valbona. Upon our return the staff at the front desk were so interested in our trip, gave EXCELLENT, dining recommendations in town and seemed so eager to help us in any way possible.

Cons:

Nothing!
