Don’t think we’ll stay there again

The location on the boardwalk in the heart of town. We like their deck.

Cons:

Mattress is back hurting soft. No sound proofing with noisy neighbors. Staff seemed like they were phoning it in—maybe it’s hard to get employees in Astoria—we saw lots of help wanted signs. The person who checked us in goofed up our credit card necessitating several calls from Visa over two days. Noisy machines in the lobby. Seemed over priced for the lack of quiet and comfort. Hot with no cross ventilation or AC.

Nothing negative to say about location and staff. I and a friend each had a room overlooking the Colombia River. The rooms were well appointed and very comfortable. The dinner we had at the bar was excellent.

Cons:

Very expensive but that is the market these days for top end accommodations. If you can afford then enjoy.

Pros:

Location is the best. Sunset is a bonus. The sauna adds fun. Staffs are friendly.

Cons:

Food is not super as we expected. The music from the bar is quite loud and we can hear the next door talking.

Fun and the staff was great. Love the ambience and the closeness to the water. Feels like you’re on a cruise ship.
