The room had neither a hairdryer nor functioning air conditioning, and reception made no apparent effort to address the issues.
Good parts: Lovely rooms, great breakfast, good service, nice and quiet, friendly staff and good bus services nearby to access the rest of Cambridge!
Bad parts: broken extractor fan, broken air conditioning, and limescale on the taps!
Er was geen overdreven, maar voldoende ruimte. Het bed was prima. Het appartement was schoon. We hebben er ondanks de warmte goed geslapen.
Het was buiten warm (midden zomer), maar de airco deed het niet en het raam kon slechts op een kier open. De nieuwe wijk waarin het appartement ligt is onpersoonlijk en kil. Zo ook het hotel zelf. Het is clean, wel praktisch, maar totaal anoniem en onpersoonlijk, Vanwege de warmte in het appartement was het er niet te harden. We zouden na klagen 30% van de prijs terugkrijgen, maar we moeten nog zien, of dat gebeurt. Bij aankomst moesten we 1 Pond betalen met betrekking tot eventueel te verhaal kosten bij schade. Ook die hebben we nog iet teruggekregen...

The property was spacious and clean and had almost everything we needed for our stay.
The property was hot and we only had one fan for the whole place which was not enough to cool down the place. Also, we had no hoover or broom and we had to rely on the cleaners to clean the floors.
We needed a convenient base for a stay in Cambridge & Turing Locke ticked all our boxes - look forward to returning.
Nice set up for the studio
Took me ages to find my room and then air on didn’t work, needed to keep window open due to no aircon and was kept awake with kids shouting until quite late, had 4 hour drive next day and was shattered
Think leaving cards in room better than walking all the way back to reception to just drop in a basket
Convenient location, quick and easy check in/out
Room was very hot and stuffy, bedroom felt a little like sleeping in a cupboard. Shower screen had gaps in it which meant the bathroom floor got very wet. Mould around the shower screen and corners. Tea towel in the kitchen didn’t smell clean. Parking situation was stressful.
Das Zimmer mit Küchenzeile ist gut proportioniert. Die Lage des Hotels ist unmittelbar neben einem Park & Ride-Parkplatz mit guter Busanbindung an die Innenstadt
Die Kosten für einen Parkplatz mit 20 Pfund pro Tag sind sehr hoch. Der Backofen war kombiniert mit einer Mikrowelle. Eine Anleitung hätte da sehr geholfen. Leider gibt es auch keine Grundversorgung an Salz, Zucker, Pfeffer, Öl.
Aircon throughout hotel was not working during a massive heatwave. Unbearable temperature in the bedroom at night!

Personnel décoratif : je les préviens à 15h30 que notre Clim ne fonctionne pas (plus de 30 degrés ) je les relance à 17h30, à 20h…. Ils prétextent que c’est à cause de la fenêtre qui n’est pas fermée. Nous rentrons à 21h, ils n’ont rien fait alors que je leur avais dit 2 fois qu’ils pouvaient entrer dans la chambre. Un homme de service vient voir et nous dit qu’il réparera le lendemain à 22h! Je dois insister pour changer de chambre que nous avons enfin à 22h30! Obligés de déménager ! Aucun geste commercial même sur les petits déjeuner à 19livres par personnes (hors de prix pour la qualité ) ! Une autre personne nous confie avoir le même problème de climatisation dans sa chambre ….
