Easy access and close to city centre
Limited parking spaces and the sofa bed was on the floor, not good for me with bad knees and back
It was clean and modern and the location was convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was the worst breakfast experience of any hotel we’ve stayed in. The first day was ok not a great deal of choice but otherwise ok. The Friday and Saturday were awful. We came down and there were no tables that weren’t occupied or full of dishes. There were no plates, cups or bowls and the one staff member that was there had had to recruit a member of reception to help. We only got a table by clearing dishes ourselves. Lots of food was missing for example there was no bacon. The following day we had to go back up to our room to get some semi skimmed milk as there was none available.
The area felt isolated and intimidating at night. There were a few lights around the docks but it was very dark and it felt uncomfortable walking back at night.
The room and facilities were the best we have stayed in recently. The bed was comfortable but the pillows needed replacing. We liked how close it was to both the city centre and the bay.
There could have been a net curtain up in our room (102) for privacy, we had to have the curtains closed for the whole visit.
The breakfast was disappointing and having to perch in an alcove where the table was too big didn't help. The breakfast was limited in hot options and the queue for the toaster was silly. Also not enough tables for the number of people wanting to eat.
Friendly staff, easy check in and out, the room was clean and nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable.

Excellent customer service - reception and waiting staff were so friendly and helpful, it really made our stay. Spacious and well equipped room, we enjoyed the view. Excellent location for Mermaid Quay. Good choice of breakfast foods

Mieux qu'une traditionnelle chambre d'hôtel. Nous avions de la place et tout ce qu'il faut pour prendre un repas simple sur place. L'hôtel est à mi-chemin entre la Bay et le vieux centre. Le petit déjeuner est tout à fait correcte.
Nous avions une chambre avec une porte communicante et celle-ci n'est pas du tout isolée. Un peu bruyant quand le voisin parle fort tard le soir ou tôt le matin.
Rooms are clean & comfortable. Staff is extremely friendly & always willing to help. Breakfast has quite the selection. Lovely to have the coffee & tea bar open 24/7. Parking is easy & only a 15 minute walk to Cardiff Bay. Lovely stay indeed.
