It was adequate for what we wanted
Room was very small
Location - opposite Exmouth beach with lovely sea views. Convenient level access to the town centre, bars, restaurants & entertainment.
Good breakfast choices of hot & cold food. Overall pricing was good for the accommodation provided.
Most of the staff were helpful & accommodating during our stay.
Hotel is in need of refurbishment (painting, carpets bedroom upgrades etc)
Very small & basic rooms & ensuites.
On site parking @ £8 per day is very limited & awkward to navigate, This could be easily remedied by marking out level bays & losing part of the unusable gardens to make larger spaces for hotel residents.
No fans or air conditioning in the bedrooms & windows with very minimal openings (safety). We would not want to be staying during hot weather!!

It was a perfect location for us to break the journey from London to Cornwall.

The hotel is an older building with lovely high ceilings and big windows. Our room was overlooking the beach. The bed was very comfortable (but see below). The bathroom had both a huge bath and a shower cubicle. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast which was buffet style was excellent too. There was a bar too but we didn't use it as we were out in the evening. Kettle/tea/coffee was provided and I was amazed to see green tea teabags there. Very unusual in a hotel in the this country
Perhaps nit picking but the room had a small double bed with a single bed next to it. We are not especially large people but the bed was too small. I would have thought it would have been better to make the 2 beds up as 1 king bed would have been much better.
Also we arrived before 4pm to find the carpark full so had to park on the road. I would be surprised if they were all guests' cars!
