Pros:

Good value in the area. As described it is a room above a pub so don't expect a high end hotel. It was quiet, clean and comfortable.

Really lovely night stop over.
Pros:

Breakfast and staff absolutely brilliant. Really made the stay exceptional having the outside balcony area.

All you need for a pleasant stay
Pros:

Room had all we needed including a very comfortable bed, tasty biscuits, a good shower, and enough tea and coffee. Plenty of drawers for storage and a clothes rack for hanging space. The guest balcony was an unexpected bonus. Staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. A great community pub. We look forward to visiting again.

Cons:

No towel rail and small tear in net curtain.

Beds were comfortable. It was mostly clean albeit not deep cleaned.

Cons:

The noise at night, the electric shower, the carpets and vinyl flooring in the bathroom. The curtains didn't keep much light out. When the toilet flushed next door room at night, it was as if it was right next to you.

For £100 per night, you'd expect higher quality. It should be closer to £50 per night for that quality.

Pros:

Good location, easy walk round Tarporley. Very friendly staff. Had a sink, toilet and shower for the price, although they were all in different corners of the room.

Cons:

The window in the room didn't open and I was staying there during one of the heatwaves. Fortunately, I was opposite the door to the outside smoking terrace so I propped my room door open until I went to bed and the room had cooled a little by then.

Great location
Pros:

Very comfortable beds. Proximity to the village.

Cons:

No water from the hot tap in the bathroom sink. Shower door difficult to close when inside. Only one small toilet roll provided. No cups provided for tea/coffee.
