A beautifully restored boutique hotel set within a charming colonial-era house, offering a wonderful blend of character, tranquility, and comfort. The property features beautifully maintained gardens and a small, intimate café that adds to its relaxed atmosphere.
Our room was generously spacious, with large windows that filled the space with beautiful natural light. The location is particularly convenient—just a short distance from the main street, yet discreetly tucked away in a quiet side lane, providing a peaceful escape from the surrounding noise and bustle.
The reception staff were exceptionally polite, welcoming, and accommodating, which made the stay even more pleasant.
A truly charming property with plenty of character, ideal for those who appreciate a more intimate and distinctive stay.
A Few Areas for Improvement:
A coffee machine in the room would be a welcome addition and would make the stay even more convenient for guests. The bathroom and shower doors also did not close completely and could benefit from some maintenance or minor renovation.
These are relatively small points, but addressing them would further enhance the overall guest experience.

המים במקלחת פושרים אך בתקופה החמה לא ממש מהווה בעיה.

The shower was not very hot. It was ok for us, but could have been a problem if weather was colder
I loved the overall vibe and character of this property. Note that there are two separate buildings on the grounds, one, the main building dating over 100 years, and the other, the building right behind it, constructed more recently. I was in the latter building, and where I'd imagine majority of patrons would be inhabited. I really appreciated the tranquility of the property, the garden, and little cafe. It is also so well located and the staff couldn't have been more attentive. Overall I was so please w/ my stay.
The wooden shutters, in lieu of blinds or curtains, might take a little bit of getting used to. I think this likely would depend on personal taste.

I stayed 3 nights at Hotel Boutique Casa Eduviges in Guadalajara and while the room was excellent and the hotel itself is very charming, what truly makes it special is its people—the incredible staff went above and beyond during a city shutdown by staying with guests, providing constant reassurance and timely updates, and even keeping the restaurant open when everything else nearby was closed.
My only complaint would be my room, Room B, had timber panels that vibrate slightly throughout the night. Woke me up most nights. Had some friends who had the same issue upstairs.
The front desk guy went above and beyond! We were there during the “el mencho” lockdown, and he was always informing us, guiding us on what to do, he stayed up overnight, when nobody else was working, making sure we were being taken care of…
