Sehr modernes und sauberes Hotel
Pros:

Sehr modern ausgestattetes Hotel. Die Sauberkeit ist einwandfrei und das Personal ist freundlich. Vom Hotel aus kann man zu Fuß sowohl die Altstadt, als auch den Kellerberg gut erreichen. Das Fühstücksbuffet ist guter Standard, hervorzuheben ist der frisch zubereitete Obstsalat.

Cons:

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit "Flußblick". Vom Fenster aus konnte man den Fluß (Wiesent) durch die Bäume kaum sehen.

Well located, warm and friendly
Pros:

This hotel turned out to be quite the surprise. Picked for its proximity to the railway station and because, well, there wasn’t much else left for Walberlafest weekend, we were expecting something pretty bland and featureless, and whilst the architecture probably won’t be winning many prizes, the hotel it contains is warm, friendly and comfortable. The room was of a decent size and with nothing really to complain about. The shower was powerful, the bathroom while appointed, the beds provided for a good night sleep (or was that the Beer?).

We had breakfast next door in BrotHaus rather than in the hotel, but the staff at reception and in the bar were friendly, and there was a good atmosphere on the ground floor generally.

The hotels Location is also noteworthy. Whilst some distance from the town and Kellerwald, if you get the right exit from the bahnhof (side gate at the southern end of platform one) it is literally two minutes away along the pavement.

Sehr sauber und schick, das Zimmer war außergewöhnlich schön, wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt

Wir hatten leider ein Zimmer zur lauten Hauptstraße – was allerdings den wohl recht günstigen Preis von 127 € inklusive Frühstück erklärt. Das Frühstück selbst war dann leider eine große Enttäuschung: Obwohl wir anderthalb Stunden vor Ende der Frühstückszeit da waren, gab es kaum noch Auswahl. Brötchen und Eier waren komplett aus, die Wurst- und Käseplatten bereits halb geleert. Es gab zwar Obstsalat, aber statt echter Butter nur Margarine und Frischkäse in Minipackungen. Selbstgemachte Aufstriche hat man vergeblich gesucht. Immerhin wurden uns noch kleine Croissants gebracht, und es gab Pancakes sowie Kaffee. Insgesamt aber sehr schade für den Start in den Tag.“

Lage, Preis, Leistungsverhältnis. Verbindung mit Bus, Bahn, ebenso zu Fuß waren sehr gut
Frühstück hat alle Erwartungen getroffen.
Wir werden sehr gerne nochmal buchen.

Cons:

Die Reinigung im bad hätte etwas besser sein können, aber das ist jammern auf hohem Niveau.

Pros:

Das Hotel liegt ideal als Ausgangspunkt vieler Aktivitäten in Forchheim. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr umfangreich und sehr lecker. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber. Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Cons:

Der Frühstücksraum ist im Verhältnis zur Gästezahl viel zu klein. Die Preisgestaltung ist unmöglich. (wie an der Börse)
Die Preise differierten bei zwei Übernachtungen um 100 Euro pro Zimmer. Wir hatten fünf Zimmer gebucht. Drei Tage vor Anreise storniert und wieder neu gebucht. 🙈 Ersparnis 500 €. Von solchen Hotels werden wir zukünftig Abstand halten.

Man konnte das Fenster nicht gut öffnen, nur kippen und das Zimmer war dadurch sehr warm
