We had an amazing stay (2 adults and 4 year old.) The staff couldn’t have been friendlier and more accommodating.
Any issues were dealt with rapidly (automatic curtains were not working when arrived and fixed instantly upon alerting reception, then later the aircon was not functioning as it should and the maintenance team attended and fixed it perfectly.)
When we ate in the restaurant one of the staff recognised us and so applied the 15% guest discount without needing to ask us as he said he had recognised us from the lift.
The pool area was incredible during the heatwave. Pool cold but actually super welcome in 35°C heat. Towels available and could order drinks and limited food menu to the terrace. My only comment for improvement would be to make the menu at the pool area bigger to accommodate more dietary requirements.
We will definitely return (and would love to try Ocean Drive’s other locations!)
We enjoyed our stay here. The location is great. It’s right near the palace and Opera station (if you use public transportation). It’s near a small plaza and many restaurants. Also near a taxi pick up spot. The room was clean, modern, and nice. The pool area was very small. It’s super busy so a bit unfortunate. This hotel can be a little pricey but we risked it and waited for the price to come down to make it a better value. The breakfast is also pricey so we opted for no breakfast.The room we were in had some “pedestrian” noise. With the plaza and metro station there, people are loud walking by. Overall, it was nice and convenient.
Fabulous location, modern, welcoming staff, immaculately clean and very comfortable. Easy to get around, felt very safe and the pool with that view was a wonderful.

Great location, just 20 meters from the metro stop, which takes you everywhere in Madrid. The staff is generally very welcoming; the waitresses could be a bit more energetic and cheerful during breakfast, but overall, we felt very comfortable in this hotel, which is in excellent condition and very clean. The soundproofing isn’t great -neither the room door nor the windows (we thought they were open) - but the comfort of the bed and the cleanliness more than make up for it. The pool is quite small and there aren’t many lounge chairs, but it’s a nice bonus after a long day of sightseeing. I’d gladly recommend this hotel to my friends—if we don’t end up going back ourselves!

Great location. Everything is just close by (Plaza Mayor, Plaza del Sol, Palace). Friendly stuff throughout our stay. Very comfortable rooms. Nothing was lacking. And to top it all, the wonderful terrace with the pool. A real treat after our tours through the city.

Great location. Lovely front desk staff. Clever room design with everything you need. Very clean.
Room was noisy (actually thought windows were open), windows need to be checked.
Waited a long time to be served in the bar as waiter said was busy cleaning glasses.
Hotel is Lovely the rooftop pool is small but nice to relax we had a small issue on check in regarding our room but Maria at reception was excellent and had the problem sorted. The cocktails in the bar are so good .

I normally stay at large American chain hotel. I was unable to find one in downtown Madrid at a price my company would pay. I took a gamble and stayed at Ocean Drive.
I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel looked recently built or updated. Everything was new and the hotel was very clean. There was a restaurant onsite in outside courtyard. It was visually pleasant and the food and price were excellent.
We only stayed one night but the registration desk was helpful with helping us navigate around the city. They were also helpful in securing a taxi to the airport the next day! This was a big help!
