Clean, comfortable and spacious accommodation.
Parking was awkward. The hotel parking was already full when we arrived and there is little street parking close to the hotel. Fortunately a park & ride site was an 8-minute walk from the hotel. Buses to the centre are then convenient but stop around 6pm, so taxi back in the evening.

Das Hotel war gut, wie immer.
Das Frühstück war leider nicht gut. Vielleicht haben wir einen schlechten Tag erwischt. Z.B. beide Kaffeemaschinen waren defekt und produzierten keine oder lauwarme Getränke, das Buffet war um 9 Uhr abgegrast und die Reste waren abgestanden, eine Enttäuschung.

Breakfast was excellent. Location suited us, my family live in Girton. It’s not in a city centre location and you need to take a taxi or bus to the centre.
Communicating with the hotel proved impossible. I needed to request a walk in shower. When we checked in , we were told all rooms had a walk in shower!

The hotel is really stylish, the rooms are really big and the bathroom is a generous size too. The bed is really comfy. It's a beautiful hotel !
The room was an acceptable size with a comfortable bed. We particularly appreciated the low level light that came on in the bathroom as you entered in the night.
It started badly when we couldn't find the hotel. We had to ask to in a local café where it was. There is a small sign over the main door, but we approached from the side so couldn't see that. In the end we were directed in by someone, via a back door, which had no signing on it whatsoever. It was as if the hotel didn't want to be found.
The breakfast was only average - indeed the pain au raisin I enthusiastically took was tough and inedible. And the shower door in our room (1018) didn't close properly, meaning water leaked out - it just needs some minor adjustment.
Super modern and large air conditioned rooms. Lovely quiet location with easy access to park and ride. Loved the midday check out.
