A great getaway place.
Pros:

Location was perfect and the area was quiet. the bedrooms and 2 baths fit very well and the veranda overlooking the harbor made it special.

Good location, needs maintenance
Pros:

Staff was wonderful, cheerful. Location is good, quiet. Not too far from one ferry terminal but a good walk to Hyline. Nice Harbor view. Outdoor fire in the evening was nice. Breakfast was OK with some choices. There are low sugar items like plain yogurt, boiled eggs, bagels.

Cons:

Dated, and numerous maintenance issues. Room looked like it had been furnished from a thrift store. Mismatched and worn. Mattress was soft. Bathroom had several problems. Fridge was rusted. Screendoor on patio was dislodged. This was an ADA room but didn't really meet many criteria.

Great location, staff and very clean!
Pros:

Excellent location across from convenience store and located in a quieter section just past downtown area. Decor/furniture is a a bit dated, but suite was exceptionally clean and well stocked. Staff is very pleasant and accommodating.

Great location but needs improvement
Pros:

View, location, spacious

Cons:

Check out is too early snd no accommodation to check out even an hour late. No notice that pool was still closed. Our room was beat up - needed updating. Very odd that you can do easily lock yourself out of your rooms with no access. Light sensor in foyer was very odd. Elevator noise was awful the last two nights when it was busy.

This is a really nice place to stay, especially if you want a place with multiple bedrooms.
Pros:

The location is amazing. Everything is walking distance which is always great after long travel days.

Cons:

The only complaint I have is the indoor pool was ice cold. We were hoping to use it on the one rainy day with our toddler but it was too cold to enjoy.

Pros:

We had a great stay at the Wellington Resort in Newport. The staff was friendly, responsive, and made everything easy from check-in to checkout. The location was perfect for exploring Newport, and the resort had a relaxed, comfortable feel. We really enjoyed our time here and will definitely be coming back again.

Pros:

Love location and staff. We’ve been going there over 35 years. My only complaint is the furniture is older than 40 years old. The decor is outdated. Please refresh uncomfortable couch and 40 yr old drapes

We have stayed at The Wellington many times over the years. We have never been disappointed.
Pros:

We like the location. It provides a great view of a sunset and is walkable to most things yet not noisy and congested. The rooms are showing signs of wear, but it is kept very clean with comfortable bedding.
