Wonderful place to stay

Won’t be back to this particular hotel. Too much money for what we got.
Pros:

Kitchen in the room, mattress was fabulous, room temp was perfect, water temp was perfect, loved having a taller toilet. Staff was very helpful when we were trying to get through the front doors with our bags.

Cons:

When we arrived, the 2nd floor hallway was lined with huge bags of trash and dirty laundry. Big tripping hazard, not to mention the smell. It was difficult to navigate with the luggage cart because the bags were spilling out. Completely ruined the aesthetic. The carpet in the room was so dirty, our brand new slippers stuck to it and then to the tile in the bathroom and kitchen. The floor in front of the toilet was dirty and yellow. Obvious that someone missed the toilet and the floor was never cleaned. The room door was so heavy it was very hard to open and hold open to move in and out. Continue to be disappointed and more than a little concerned that your “handicapped” rooms are above ground floor level. In an emergency, there would be no way to get out since the use of stairs is not an option. Please do better.
