Amazing location
Clean and great staff
Nothing
The location was very good on the beach and not too far from town. Cleanliness was excellent staff cleaning rooms were very good and the guy tensing to the beach also attentive. The addition of the record player and records in room was very quirky and a nice touch. As was the fire pits in the evening on the beach.
The beds and pillows were not that comfortable, poor linen quality. Very small shower room. There is a microwave and a kitchen in the room but no cups, glasses, crockery or cutlery . So impossible to make or eat anything. Although there is an ice bucket and ice machine outside your room you can’t have a drink as no glasses there is also no kettle so although the room has been fitted with a small kitchen (including fridge) it is unusable. When we asked for a kettle at reception they could not have been less interested - maybe you are meant to bring utensils with you which is difficult if an international traveller and this maybe helpful to know before you arrive.
Great location. Rooms were nice. Really liked the attention to detail and comfort. Gorgeous rooftop patio. Loved the fire pits at night.
No hairdryer in room.
None.
I rarely write reviews, but the conditions of my recent stay warrant an explicit warning to prospective guests. My experience was defined by false advertising, unacceptable room conditions, and appalling customer service.
Bait-and-Switch Accommodations:
I paid $800 specifically for an "Ocean View" room, only to be assigned a unit directly facing a parking lot. A food truck permanently parked outside blocked any remnant of a view, requiring us to keep the blinds drawn the entire stay to maintain basic privacy.
Hazardous Room Conditions & Cleanliness:
Upon arrival, the room carried a distinct mold odor, and the floors were left soapy, slippery, and dangerously slick. The bathroom layout was uncomfortably cramped, and the mini-fridge leaked condensation onto the floor.
Misleading Amenities & Listing: The online marketing materials are completely detached from reality. Room amenities were severely lacking (no coffee maker, no dishware for the microwave), and the local "beach" advertised is entirely unnavigable gravel rather than sand.
Disruptive Environment & Unhelpful Management: Paper-thin walls meant hearing neighboring guests' audio throughout the night, making sleep impossible. When I brought these severe issues to the front desk, the manager, Andrea, was dismissive and flatly refused to relocate us.
Explicit Discrimination & Predatory Behavior Toward Booking.com Guests:
When I raised severe room defects with the front desk, the manager, Andrea, explicitly stated that because I reserved through Booking.com rather than directly, I was given lower priority and would not be helped. Taking malicious advantage of our vulnerability—late in the evening, in a new place with nowhere else to go—she callously ordered us to vacate the premises, if we want.
I strongly advise travelers to look elsewhere, and I expect management to address this egregious lapse in quality and service immediately.
Beautifully renovated, spacious, and clean rooms on the beach and a few feet from the water. Includes a kitchenette. Great location to walk to the ferry and restaurants. Great food truck outside for coffee and treats. Assigned parking space. Courteous staff.
The bathroom is small, but clean and well organized for the small space.
1. Paid $800 for "OCEAN VIEW" and got a PARKING LOT VIEW. A blue food truck is parked 24/7 right outside the window blocking any view. Total bait-and-switch
FRAUD.
2. Strong mold stench. The floor was soapy and slippery wet - dangerous.
3. TINY CLOSET bathroom with toilet jammed between the wall and shower. Patio faces the food truck, so visible to strangers all day. Had to keep blinds closed.
4. No coffee maker, fridge dripping condensation, only a microwave with no plates/mugs. Their pretty online photos are a trap. The "beach" is painful gravel, not sandy
- can't even stand on it for 2 mins.
5. Rude front desk and the manager, Andrea refused to change our room, claiming "fully booked". Paper-thin walls, couldn't sleep with neighbor playing the record player(room amenity) at night.
Photos attached as proof.
Hotel piccolo sulla spiaggia, si dorme con il rumore delle onde, idea divertente, con un caffè van che offre dolci ed altro. Personale molto gentile e attento.
La nostra Camera al pian terreno. Umidissima. Pavimento bagnato e lenzuola umide.
The room was clean and decorated very nicely. They have a great roof top deck to watch the sunset.
Location was excellent!
The private beach was great!
Little Blue!!!!!!
Rooms had great views.
Beds were comfy
The staff is wonderful! Friendly!
Lots of light from devices.
Staff helped mitigate.
It was incredibly clean, beds are comfy and smells great.
Nothing more than the room. I don’t really understand why they charge us a “resort fee”: okay, it is beachfront, but there is no pool, not even a lobby or any room for kids to gather and play something. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a nice place, but in my opinion, definitely not worth the almost $700 I paid per day, not even an ocean view unit. I’d only stay there again if it was for a fairer price for a room only.
