Overall, great place for couples to stay for a romantic getaway!
Pros:

The cleaning service did an excellent job! The room is just right for couples, love the private beach and room intimacy.

Cons:

Blue Truck Coffee is only seasonal and there are no breakfast options. Bathroom was small. Walls are very thin between rooms.

Pros:

The view of the ocean was spectacular. Location is perfect. This was our 5th time staying at the Tides . The front desk staff were outstanding . So helpful and so pleasant . You are fortunate to have them there.

Because of the AC we had terrible time of sleeping. The fan blade made so much noise ear plugs work.

Not worth it. There are much better hotels in Falmouth heights.

There is a small private beach. That’s about it.

Cons:

This was an $800/night stay and absolutely not worth it. It’s a motel, there’s nothing upscale about it.
No glasses in the room, and they say there’s a wine fridge.
No coffee maker in room, they sell it from a coffee truck
No slippers or robes
The air conditioner causes the floor and tables surfaces to get wet, where you have to walk on towels in the room. Classy.
The fire pits on the small beach cause the smoke and lighter fluid to go into the rooms.
The beach chairs are on a slope, had to level them with rolled up beach towels.
The manager, Andrea, has very bad customer service skills.
Never again.

We were surprised and delighted by the quality of the hotel and the staff; planning to return soon.
Pros:

Our room was very clean; that is especially important for us. The staff were wonderful: friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable, and hardworking. Food truck in the parking lot was super convenient and we used it multiple times each day. The beach was clean and well tended; we loved having chairs and umbrella, along with a small patio.

Lovely location but poor value for money
Pros:

The location was very good on the beach and not too far from town. Cleanliness was excellent staff cleaning rooms were very good and the guy tensing to the beach also attentive. The addition of the record player and records in room was very quirky and a nice touch. As was the fire pits in the evening on the beach.

Cons:

The beds and pillows were not that comfortable, poor linen quality. Very small shower room. There is a microwave and a kitchen in the room but no cups, glasses, crockery or cutlery . So impossible to make or eat anything. Although there is an ice bucket and ice machine outside your room you can’t have a drink as no glasses there is also no kettle so although the room has been fitted with a small kitchen (including fridge) it is unusable. When we asked for a kettle at reception they could not have been less interested - maybe you are meant to bring utensils with you which is difficult if an international traveller and this maybe helpful to know before you arrive.
