A fascinating and unique experience. Yet to do so in such luxury compared to the horrific treatment of the prisoners feels surreal.

Everything. The quality of food, cutlery, cleanliness, the staff were amazing!! Big shout out to Jo who went above and beyond to help us as my husband had a tooth infection. Jo was fabulous and we are very grateful! The shop had a good variety of souvenirs to purchase. We loved our stay!!
Slightly too much like a hotel as opposed to staying in an authentic historical prison. Albeit still a wonderful experience!

zeer verzorgd en heerlijk ontbijt met uitgebreide keuze.
zeer mooie kamer en badkamer en comfortabel bed.
parkeergelegenheid bij het hotel en oplaadmogelijkheid voor electrische auto's.
het stadje Bodmin is niet gezellig en stelt niks voor.
de gym in het hotel was koud en we kregen de muziek of tv niet aan de praat, ondanks het verzoek aan de receptie.
de kamer heeft slechts een klein (gevangenis)raampje' voor een paar nachten is dat ok, maar langer dan dat zou ik er niet willen verblijven.

Breakfast service was bad, wifi stopped working, staff were not good at responding to feedback (written or oral),location is not good
Everything about the place was amazing. The staff was friendly, the food was amazing and the rooms were spacious and comfortable.
The tour was interesting, reasonably price and we enjoyed it very much

Love the quirkiness. The way it has been restored. The decor, the stonework used in the bathrooms. The Staff we all very friendly and helpful. We ate in the Bar this time we stayed and the food was excellent.
We loved most of it but in the Champagne Bar we asked for two glasses of Champagne and they had run out. The last time we stayed a couple of years ago we asked for a Bottle of Champagne and they didn’t have any. I don’t think you should call your Bar a Champagne Bar if you cannot provide Champagne. apart from that it was great.
