honestly probably having to pay for parking. I stayed in another hotel in the city and parking was provided no charge so it was disappointing to be charged for parking in Doncaster. But honestly everything else about our stay was great
Good for what we needed, buffet brekkie
I was charged twice for parking when jt was part of the room rate - was refunded for one but not the other
The breakfast is always a highlight for us. THis year we had to pay for coffee from the bar. You also needed to have more staff on cooking omlettes. Too many people staying in the hotel for one chef to be making all the requests without a proper system to keep track of orders etc. I felt sorry for the staff member who did their best but needed more help.
Parking was not half price as has been with Accor membership previously. No supervision of the lobby was provided. Infact you had an intruder who came in through the lobby and chased girls to their rooms. previous years we have had a designated staff member to help with supervision of the lobby and games room. The games room was closed before my kid and their friends even used the area. Our room had a dirty sock and rubbish left next to the bed. We have stayed here the last 4 years. We will consider whether to return next year

Clean, modern rooms, with friendly service from all the staff. The beds were comfy (except for pillows) and the shower was so good!
Need flatter pillows to complement the comfy beds, while the pillows were good siiting up to watch T.V, when trying to get to sleep they were way too high. I used a jumper instead.

Ordered room service as soon as we got into the room. We were going to an event and didn't have alot of time. Over an hour had gone and we hadn't received the food, We called the restaurant and were informed the kitchen was very busy and hadn't started it yet. We couldn't wait any longer so I cancelled it. We were offered something small which we accepted, within 5 minutes the restaurant manager was at the door with a huge bowl of chips and some wine. He apologised profusely and refused any payment for the offering. We were refunded the initial cost of the room service immediately. Ultimately it was a small issue that was well handled by them.
