Hopping place in a great location, can get on the subway and be in Chelsea in 20 minutes.

Pros:

Hotel classe et grande classe

Le decor de l hôtel et des chambres est tres beau
Les lits King size sont top et d une grande qualite

L hôtel organisé chaque week-end end des événements avec groupe ou DJ l ambiance est tres bonne et on entend rien depuis les chambres

Le bar a une carte assez bonne et il y a un restaurant Japonais et un magasin de Bagel jumelé avec le hall de l hôtel

La rue de l hôtel est calme et silencieuse

Cons:

Pas tres dérangeant en fait mais quelques petites vibrations quand le métro souterain passe ( on ne l entend par contre )

the gym was quite dissapointing. extremly small and the gear needs to be exchanged. we experienced quite a few safety issues on the equipment.

Bel hôtel bien desservi dans Brooklyn.
Pros:

Grande chambre très confortable bien décorée. Proximité du métro. Bar chaleureux,.

Cons:

Nom de la chambre "Medium skyline" prêtant à confusion, il n'y a pas de vue sur la skyline et l'hôtel nous a confimé qu'aucune de leur chambre ne donne sur la skyline. Petite déception cependant la vue de la chambre reste agréable.
Léger sifflement permanent de la ventilation.

It was a good stay in Brooklyn.
Pros:

the hotel has a young vibe and the bar is extremely vibrant on the weekend evenings until late. The noise did not filter into our room so it was not a problem.

Cons:

The surrounding streets are not the most appealing - however it was not unsafe.

Loved it, would be back
Pros:

Loved our stay at Ace! The room looks like something out of an Architectural Digest with all midcentury pieces. It was quite spacious, we had 3 bags, and we were very comfortable. The hotel lobby is always buzzing with events and is really cool to hang out in. Right in front of a metro station, which made moving around the city much easier.

Cons:

Nothing much really, there are a few unhoused people that sometimes hang around the corner, but this is NYC, and they are super harmless, so don't be alarmed at it, the area is super safe.

The interior design and visuals, amazing. Vinyl player, amazing. Location, amazing. Lobby vibe, amazing. Good facility with water supplies and gym.

Cons:

Staff? some nice, some OK. Bit hassle when it comes to rebook and things. Also we had a false fire alarm at 2AM. No sorry or compensation for it. Also a lil bit noisy if you are a light sleeper since you will always feel the party noise from the lobby or the vibrations of trains underneath.

Not terrible but I expected more given the cost - which I consider high.
Pros:

Good location for our needs. Very nice staff. Room was clean.

Cons:

Room was dark and needed updating. One side of the bed was against the window wall with only a few inches of space to get out of the bed. Building rumbles when the subway goes under it (I assume that's what it was).

Convenient location to explore Brooklyn and NYC.
Pros:

The rooms are cozy with comfortable communal spaces that seemed to always be in use. The staff were really friendly. The Japanese restaurant was amazing if you book ahead and enjoy sushi. Otherwise there are restaurants in a couple blocks or access to the MTA station across the road. It felt very safe with a police station nearby and adjacent to welcoming communities of Brooklyn. I would certainly choose Brooklyn over NYC central if visiting the area again.

Cons:

I found the lighting is low if you want to read- although there is table space to work on a laptop that has better lighting. Also the room carpet was damaged with water stains (probably from pets in the room) also there was a piece of kimchi on the wood chair at the desk area, which made me careful before sitting down at the sofa. I am allergic to dogs and didn’t notice any issues, so the room had been cleaned well enough.
