Akzeptables Hotel mit Schwächen. Die Lage entschädigt nicht alles.
Pros:

Mein Zimmer war schön geräumig, das Frühstück war reichhaltig und man hatte aus der 6. Etage einen herrlichen Blick auf den Rhein. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, man erreicht in wenigen Minuten auch die Altstadt.

Cons:

Mein Zimmer hatte das Fenster zum Hinterhof, das war nicht so toll. Ich hatte das Hotel wegen des Blicks auf den Rhein gebucht. Der Aufzug stammt noch aus der Zeit der Erfindung dessen - ich habe immer die Treppe genommen. Entgegen der Homepage hatte das (schöne?) Restaurant aus unerklärten Gründen geschlossen. Der Herr am Empfang konnte keine Tips geben, wo man essen gehen könne, aber zum Glück gibt's ja Google. Zudem machte dieser Herr auch unschöne Bemerkungen zu Ostdeutschland. Ich war der Annahme, diese Stufe wäre überwunden.

Toller Blick auf den Rhein

Das Highlight ist das Restaurant im 6. Stock, in dem es Frühstück und neuerdings auch Abendkarte gibt. Die Abendkarte war super, und der Preis war dank 20% Rabattierung in Ordnung.

Cons:

Leider ist der alte Fahrstuhl doch recht laut und wurde meist bis 23:30/24:00 Uhr bewegt. Er war im Zimmer deutlich zu hören. Der Straßenverkehr ist eigentlich durch gut isolierte Fenster kaum zu vernehmen.
