Pros:

Excellent location, close to all points of interest. The staff were very friendly, hotel was very clean. Most importantly fairly spacious for families. The breakfast was yummy 😋

Pros:

This hotel was exceptional! The staff are so friendly and helpful. The facilities were also fantastic. We didnt have breakfast included but we used the onsite bakery every morning, which we loved. The rooftop is also a great place to sit and relax day or night with great food options and a wide drinks menu. The waiting staff on the rooftop were so lovely. We also had a discounted option to upgrade and stay in the Executive king room. The room was very spacious, clean, and the bath was fantastic after a long day of walking. Streaming services are available, the air con was perfect, and the bed was super comfy. We also had a great view. We ate one night in the restaurant and the food, atmosphere and service was 10/10. We also regularly booked taxis at the front desk which was seamless and we only ever waited 5 minutes for a taxi to arrive. Overall we loved this hotel and would highly recommend it!

Gutes Hotel mit mega Frühstück
Pros:

- Jedes Zimmer hat eine eigene Wasserfilter-Station im Bad
- Großartiges (!!) Frühstück (vor allem das Gebäck aus der Bäckerei ist wahnsinnig lecker)
- Schöne (aber leider natürlich auch recht teure) Rooftop Bar
- Tolle Lage als Ausgangspunkt für alle Sehenswürdigkeiten

Cons:

- Im Zimmer ist es teilweise nachts bzw. früh morgens sehr heiß, wenn man die Klimaanlage nicht durchgehend eingeschaltet hat
- Lüftung im Bad lässt sich nicht ausschalten & ist richtig laut
- Für den Preis (Tax wird vor Ort nochmal aufgeschlagen) gibt es deutlich hochwertigere Hotels (aber wahrscheinlich halt nicht in Kyoto) >> grundsätzlich würde ich das Hotel wieder buchen (:

Loved Nohga rooms and outdoor rooftop patio.
Pros:

Really nice rooms with plenty of space and comfortable beds.
The lobby was welcoming and restaurant served a great breakfast. We loved having cocktails on the top floor outdoor patio.

Cons:

I’m not sure the location was ideal for us. It’s close to Kiyomizudera, but on a busy street with not much going on near us.

Geweldige plek in Kyoto om te verblijven, heerlijke uitvalbasis met perfect restaurant, bakkerij en rooftop terras.
Pros:

Mooi ingericht en modern hotel, met geweldige kamer en heerlijke bedden. Voor het restaurant, de heerlijke bakker beneden en het rooftop terras zijn geweldig. Het ligt vlakbij de wijk Gion met veel tempels en waar je een theeceremonie kunt bijwonen. Makkelijk wandelen naar winkelgebied.

Cons:

We hadden een kamer aan de straatkant en daar hoorde je af en toe wat verkeer van.

Perfect for us in just the right neighborhood.
Pros:

The staff was excellent—professional and very knowledgeable and friendly. The neighborhood was just right for us, and the bike rental was a real plus. Be sure to include the breakfast! It was superb!
