Great location in Old Montreal. Plenty of options to eat out or eat in. Good facilities enable you to cook in your apartment. Plenty of room.

The room layout and atmosphere leave a great deal to be desired. It's supposed to be minimalist but it's just a grey depressing box that feels like your in your parents basement. The bathroom layout is also ridiculous. The sink area is small and poorly lit and open to the entire room . The shower is also completely exposed so there is no privacy. The water closet is tiny and the TP is on a pole on the floor but at least there is a door you can close. Meanwhile the kitchen island is 9 feet long and seems like a total waste of space.
The location is excellent in the old town. The lofts are spacious, well appointed with a well stocked kitchen area. The WiFi worked well and the check in arrangements - all done online - were efficient and well executed.
The bathroom arrangements - there a separate toilet, a freestanding glass shower and a wash basin in the main room. Very strange showering experience. Also our shower door didn’t open properly and we didn’t like having the shower on open display. Also no mirror near the sink. To us, the whole bathroom arrangement smacked of being a nice design idea on paper that wasn’t great in practise.
Also although the room was well appointed with a huge bed
and a large kitchen diner, there was no sofa or chairs other than bar stalls and a thin bench. A comfy chair by the lovely windows would have been really nice.

There was blood stain in the bed. That was unpleasant
Modern look and feel. Was close to the old area which was nice to walk around in. The staff were lovely. Close to restaurants and shops.
