A clean friendly base for a memorable, stress-free stay in Grindewald
Pros:

Clean room with amazing view, television/wifi worked perfectly, ability to access the neighbouring hostel's social areas, kitchen facilities with free tea/coffee/fruit (and use of laundry room if needed), excellent location for access to Grindewald Terminal station and easy check in/out process.

Cons:

Limited breakfast options (gluten-free, protein selection); stronger advice to other guests to keep noise levels down and avoid dragging furniture late at night - everyone is there to get up early for hikes etc. so more consideration needed.

Helpful and friendly staff, very convenient and cozy place to stay.
Pros:

Accessible, spectacular view of Eigerhorn, very convenient if you want to access Jungfraujoch.

Cons:

The design of the shower area will flood the toilet easily. The lighting of the room is a bit too dim. And the lift is broken.

A wonderful stay! Great spot and staff!
Pros:

The staff were wonderful. They helped us with convenient parking and we loved the breakfast each morning.

Cons:

Unfortunately we were in Switzerland during a heatwave so it was a bit hard to sleep at night without aircon but understandable that they aren’t typically needed

Great Stay At Grindelwald
Pros:

Very modern room, great view of the mountain side. Great facilities and convenient communal kitchen. Breakfast buffet was really good too.

Pros:

Pretty close to the Grindewald Terminal. Breakfast was fabulous. The views were wonderful.

Cons:

No air conditioning. Pretty basic. The elevator was broken and 3 flights of stairs for older people was hard with luggage.

Wonderful stay and would come back again.
Pros:

The room was clean with a nice view. The common areas were spacious with bright windows. I also liked that there was a full restaurant on site. The neighborhood was fantastic and wonderful for taking walks. We appreciated getting a fan to keep our room cooler. Lastly, the price for the room was great considering how much hotel rooms are in the area.

Cons:

The room was a little warm when we were sleeping due to no A/C but that is common for Swiss rooms. I wished we could have kept the door open but we were afraid of flies getting in. Maybe put a screen on the door so guests can keep the door open at night.

Layed back atmosphere, excellent breakfast, ideal location, clean rooms, just what we were looking for. Public viewing of worldcup and unexpected plus.

Cons:

No complaints. We didn't stay long enough to figure out the light switches completely (average age late 50s), lol.
