Unique atmosphere and attention to detail
Pros:

Amazing hotel with charming interior and view that is hard to beat
Pros:

Amazing interior with lots of wooden decor, a view of Jakarta city hard to beat, very comfortable beds, a great and rich breakfast (and even greater and richer bar), and helpful staff. I warmly recommend this hotel!

Cons:

Nothing - I really did not find a single thing that would be wrong.

Extraordinary
Pros:

I love the style of the hotel. Interior design is really beautiful with wooden and natural themes. Each room has a different drawing on its door, making it really special. There are two pools and the rooftop one is gorgeous with fantastic views of the city and great ambiance. Beds are huge and comfortable. Food is great with different options including Indonesian international and Japanese.
Last but certainly not least, staff are extremely friendly. I had an issue with taxi to go to the airport and the reception staff especially Robin did all he could to help me, with warmth and big smiles! I am truly grateful!
All my colleagues who are travelling with me, including those who stay in different hotels nearby, all love the Orient’s ambiance.
Oh massage service is also great!
A hotel definitely to return to and to be highly recommended.

Pros:

Incroyable ! 😍 Magnifique hôtel, haut standing. Bien entendu, en plein coeur de ville, mais vrai dépaysement à l'intérieur. L'une de mes meilleures expériences d'hôtel.
Spa génial, comme le reste de l'hôtel. A noter : Piscines ambiance "fancy" avec musique.
On reviendra, c'est CERTAIN 💗

Wonderful hotel.
Pros:

Lovely hotel, great rooftop pool, great lower pool which was my son’s favourite pool of our trip. Excellent gym and very friendly helpful staff. Nice big rooms, with good views of Jakarta. The decor isndie the hotel is amazing, and a real good introduction into Indonesian culture. The breakfast restaurant staff were top notch and went above and beyond to help us

Cons:

The location doesn't have much around the immediate vacinity if you want to walk straight out and do something, but grab taxis are so cheap it really wasn't an issue for us.
