I had a wonderful stay at this hotel during my trip to Romania. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was very convenient. I especially appreciated the excellent service and attention to detail. The breakfast was delicious, and the overall atmosphere made me feel at home. Ramada cu iz de provincie, dar totusi printre putinele optiuni real OK in Tg Jiu.
Pros:

Hotelul este situat la marginea orasului, in apropierea casei memoriale Ecaterina Teodoroiu. Este retras cca 200m de la soseaua principala si are o curte proprie cu parcare uriasa si ale carei porti se inchid seara. Este un loc perfect pentru tranzit sau daca ai masina pt a te deplasa. Un lucru smart, desi nu au apa complimentary in camera, au pe fiecare palier un dozator cu bidoane de 19L si mai sunt si la receptie si pe fiecare etaj vending machines in caz ca vrei un suc, ceva.

Cons:

Am mai intalnit si in alte tari acest concept dar pe care nu il pot intelege absolut deloc: LIPSA PERIEI DE WC! Explicatia este si mai stupefianta: "Asa a decis conducerea. Sunati la receptie si vine cineva sa curete toaleta" NO COMMENTS..... Am cumparat o perie din oras pt cele 4 zile cat am stat si a doua zi au pus si ei una dupa ce am dat un ciubuc cameristei. In alta ordine de idei: Mic dejun saracut si trebuie sa le atragi atentia ca nu e paine, nu mai e unt, nu mai sunt oua, rosii, etc, etc. Din 2 Espesso-are nu mergea niciunul (ba nu au apa, ba trebuia golit waste ul, ca schimbat filtrul), e clar ca oamenii de la restaurant habar nu au, si nu prea au nici chef. Neimputabil hotelului, dar ca observatie ca ar fi trebuit sa se sesizeze doamnele de la receptia non-stop: Era cazata o echipa de baschet din Valcea si au plecat noaptea pe la 12. Soferul, cu un autobuz din ala tip rata de la tara, a tras cu spatele fix in usa hotelului si a pornit motorul si l-a lasat asa 40-50 min pana s-au adunat toti pasagerii. Gaz in hotel si pe geam (stateam la et 1) groaznic. Nici cu geamul inchis nu am scapat de zgomot. Am strigat pe geam la el, ca statea si baga bagaje in cala, nu a dat doi bani. Asta asa, ca fapt divers, repet, fara a imputa ceva hotelului, cu exceptia lipsei de reactie/common sense, sau cum ii zice.
