Cons:

De ontvangst aan de receptie was “ karig”. Geen “ warm welkom” maar een heel verlegen jongeman die zeer zacht sprak en duidelijk nog niet groeien in gastheerschap. Een koffiezetapparaat op de kamer ontbrak. Ontbijt tussen 8 en 11. Om 10 uur nagenoeg een leeg buffet waarbij we om veel moesten vragen.

Kamer, personeel en faciliteiten prima! Parkeren echt teleurstellend.
Pros:

Historisch gebouw, indrukwekkend. Jaarboeken van 30-er jaren t/m 1940 heel interessant, evenals foto’s uit die tijd van leerlingen in het trappenhuis. Doorleefde entourage, inclusief de (deels) herstelde granieten vloeren en traptreden.

Cons:

Dat je voor een parkeerplaats moet betalen, en dan nog wel €17,50 vonden we een absolute domper.

Stijlvol hotel op een prachtlocatie
Pros:

De kwaliteit van de kamer/badkamer qua inrichting is zeer netjes en stijlvol ingericht. Prima bedden en voorzieningen zoals bodylotion, shampoo en zeep in de badkamer.
Ook de locatie naast het centrum en gevestigd in een oude school waarvan de oude kenmerken zichtbaar zijn gebleven is prachtig

Cons:

Het ontbijt was goed, maar mocht wel iets uitgebreider zijn qua keuze. Niettemin was het prima om te genieten van een heerlijk ontbijt.

Great hotel, with an awesome restaurant and staff. We could definitely come back!
Pros:

The breakfast was quite good and the staff was super friendly, given us tips about Sittard and dealing with check-in and check-out on a timely and super organized manner. We could definitely return!

Cons:

Missed some facilities in the room, such as makeup cottons and shower cap. The towels were also separate, so one was in the bathroom and another in the wardrobe — it could be easier to keep all in one place. Also missed slippers, those can make the experience even more comfy.

Pros:

Rooms were spacious with air conditioning which was wonderful in the hot temperatures of the heatwave we experienced whilst there.
Breakfast was good with a great choice of Continental goods and also a cooked option.

Cons:

We booked for dinner on the first evening and had to wait a long time for our order to be taken and then were kept waiting almost an hour for the meal to arrive. The excuse was that there were only two on duty (chef and waiter), but there were 3 or 4 staff members on reception which wasn't busy there. Surely it would have made sense to have had one of those deployed to help in the restaurant.

Fijn hotel maar veel te duur
Pros:

Fijne koele kamer in een mooie historische omgeving. Locatie op loopafstand van het station en nabij winkelstraat.

Cons:

We dachten dat de prijs incl ontbijt was, maar dat bleek niet zo. De extra kosten voor het ontbijt zou dan bijna € 50,- bedragen, per saldo € 200,- voor een overnachting. Dat is wel bovenmatig voor n kleine provinciestad.

Fijn hotel in een prachtig gebouw
Pros:

Heel fijn hotel in een prachtig gebouw. Goede bedden en de badkamer was netjes. Alles lijkt ook nog eens extra ruim door de hoge plafonds.
