Zimmer ohne zu öffnende Fenster – für mich ein absolutes No-Go
Pros:

Personal war freundlich, die Lage ist perfekt, gute Wetten und ruhige Zimmer.

Cons:

Man konnte leider die Fenster nicht aufmachen und deswegen ist das Hotel nicht für mich geeignet. Ohne frische Luft und nur mit Klima komme ich nicht so ganz zurecht.

The best place in Sittard
Pros:

The best place to stop in Sittard. I have been coming to Sittard since 2020 and always stay in this hotel. My family checks different places, but the food in the restaurant, breakfast, and pizza in the bar or lunch are so delicious and great for the same price as in town. I really, really recommend this place.

Efficiënt verblijf on Sittard
Pros:

De service en de voor ons gunstige locatie.

Cons:

De aanwezige voorzieningen. Bar was gesloten. Restaurant buiten het ontbijt geen service. Dus niets te drinken in het hotel. Dan op de kamer maar een koffie.

A Consistently Excellent Stay – Our 5th Visit
Pros:

This was our 5th stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Sittard, and every time we visit this area, this is the hotel we choose. It has become our go-to place because we always feel genuinely welcomed.

The complimentary chocolate cookies at check-in are a lovely touch and immediately make you feel at home. The rooms are always very clean, spacious, and comfortable, with plenty of room to relax. We especially appreciate the large bathroom, which is much more spacious than what you often find in hotels.

The check-in and check-out processes are also consistently smooth and hassle-free, which makes the whole stay very easy and enjoyable.

We are sure that we will stay at this hotel again the next time we visit the area. It has become our first choice, and we look forward to coming back.

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad en werden uitstekend geholpen door het personeel.
Pros:

Het hotel was mooi, sfeervol en vol authentieke elementen. Vroeger was het een school en oude foto's, meubels en details geven een locatie een extra dimensie.

Mooi hotel met goede ligging, info kamer niet transparant
Pros:

De ligging van het hotel is ideaal. In het centrum van Sittard en op slechts 10 minuten lopen van het treinstation. Vanaf hier sta je in iets meer dan een kwartier in het centrum van Maastricht.

Mooi gebouw. Fijne kamer met voor ons goede bedden. Ruime badkamer met een fijne regendouche.

Goede en vriendelijke ontvangst door een jonge medewerker. Wellicht nog wat onwennig, maar hij gaf ons volledige informatie en nam stap voor stap alles met ons door. Kwam gastvrij over en de incheck was vlot en prettig. Het warme welkomstkoekje was een leuke verrassing.
Ook in de avonduren een vriendelijke medewerkster achter de desk met aandacht voor de gasten.

Cons:

Het is jammer dat je in een Hilton op (sommige) kamers alleen oploskoffie kan maken. Inmiddels blijkt dit (volgens de front office) een wijziging in beleid. Niet uitgelegd, maar het lijkt erop dat Hilton hiermee een onderscheid wil maken tussen standaard en deluxe kamers.
Dat kan, maar tot op heden is op de foto’s bij een standaard kamer duidelijk een koffiezetapparaat zichtbaar. Ook op de website van Hilton Sittard staat bij de standaard kamer nog altijd vermeld dat er een koffiezetapparaat op de kamer staat.
Heb de voorkeur voor een apparaat, hou er rekening mee dat de informatie per type kamer op dit moment niet actueel is. De front office medewerker gaf aan dat de foto’s helaas niet zijn aangepast.

Na eerste nacht was de thee en koffie niet aangevuld. Hierom gevraagd bij de receptie. Vriendelijk geholpen door medewerkster.

Handzeep was leeg bij aankomst. Ook na de eerste nacht niet vervangen. Ook dit gemeld.

Uitchecken op de zondagochtend door een andere medewerker dan incheck was kil en zakelijk. Weinig woorden. Daar waar je in ieder hotel de vraag krijgt of alles naar wens was, bleef die vraag hier achterwege.

Het hotel is mooi en netjes, maar met bovenstaande opmerkingen is de prijs kwaliteit wat uit verhouding.
Wat meer transparantie over inrichting kamer en aandacht voor artikelen kan hier meer balans in brengen.
