Pros:

La vista y estancia en el hotel es agradable, poca gente y lo puedes disfrutar.

Cons:

El servicio en restaurante es pésimo, no tienen gran variedad de platillos, adicional a que lo que venden no es tan fresco y no tiene relacion versus costo, simple ejemplo de papas y boneless a un costo excesivo, de igual manera el ceviche, no fresco y no bueno, te venden el hotel con desayuno en alberca, pero jamas indica que te cobran $1500 por esto último, si quieren tomar fotografías y videos tiene vista, $1000 pesos por un servicio de traslado al hotel excedido, es mas económico rentar un auto por día.

Un très bel hôtel... mais un accès catastrophique
Pros:

L'hôtel est magnifique, avec une vue superbe et un accès direct au lagon. Nous avions réservé deux chambres avec vue sur le lagon : elles sont très grandes, belles et confortables, avec de grands lits, un petit balcon avec hamac et un réfrigérateur. Le ponton et les kayaks à disposition permettent de profiter pleinement du lagon, c'est vraiment très agréable.
Le restaurant est également très bien et le petit-déjeuner est bon, même si je pense qu'il pourrait être un peu plus qualitatif et varié compte tenu du standing et du prix de l'établissement.

Cons:

Le véritable gros (énorme) point noir est l'accès à l'hôtel. J'avais lu les commentaires avant notre arrivée, mais je ne pensais vraiment pas que la route serait à ce point difficile.
Il faut parcourir environ 2 km sur une piste extrêmement dégradée, avec de gros cailloux, des roches et des passages très difficiles.
Avec notre voiture de location, une berline, nous devions rouler au pas en craignant à chaque mètre d''abîmer un pneu ou le dessous de la voiture.
Au-delà de l'inconfort, c'est surtout dommage car cela limite réellement la liberté de sortir de l'hôtel : on réfléchit à deux fois avant de reprendre cette route pour aller à Bacalar ou visiter les environs.
Même si cette route n'appartient apparemment pas à l'établissement, pour un hôtel de ce standing, il semble indispensable qu'une solution soit trouvée.

Enfin, quelques petits éléments commencent à mériter un rafraîchissement : certaines parties autour de la piscine, quelques peintures dans les chambres… Rien qui gâche le séjour aujourd'hui, mais à ce niveau de prix, un peu d'entretien supplémentaire permettrait de conserver le standing de l'établissement.

3 jours de rêves à Bacalar
Pros:

Nous avions le bungalow de trois chambres directement sur le ponton avec un emplacement vraiment hyper agréable. La qualité de l’hébergement est au top. Le ponton est magique et les lumières le soir géniales. Le fait de pouvoir prendre des Kayaks à volonté est aussi top pour pouvoir se balader sur la lagune. C’est vraiment un très bon hôtel.

Cons:

La carte du restaurant est vraiment trop restreinte et les prix ne sont pas en ligne avec le Mexique… mais c’est bon ! C’est quand même un point important, car l’emplacement est à 25 minutes du centre de Baccalar. En effet, il faut compter 10 minutes pour parcourir les 2 km de chemin pour rejoindre la route principale. Le chemin est vraiment défoncé. Toutefois, pas de panique à 20 km/h c’est complètement praticable en voiture… c’est juste long. D’où parfois le réflexe pour bien profiter de la journée de vouloir déjeuner à l’hôtel.

Very nice place but overpriced for the villa
Pros:

Very nice location a bit further away from Bacalar city area which allows for good contact with nature. Nice, relax environment, true boutique style with as well good food at the restaurant.

Cons:

We had the villa. Just to note: only the mini-pool is private, not the pontoon and the picture of the bathrooms are a bit misleading. It doesn’t look as good in reality. Overall I think we overpaid for the villa and could have had better for the price.

Lage super, Preis- Leistung passt hier aber leider nicht.
Pros:

Die Lage an der Lagune mit dem Steg und der Pool waren sehr schön.

Cons:

Angefangen beim Check in bis zum Check out war kein Service vorhanden. In einem 4 Sterne Hotel sollte wenigstens einer an der Rezeption Englisch können. Statt dessen wird beim Check in übers Handy mit einem Spanischübersetzer gearbeitet. Wir waren eine Stunde damit beschäftigt hin und her zu schreiben… macht „Spaß“ nach einer langen Anfahrt…. die Anfahrtsstraße durch den Wald ist eine Katastrophe. Die Stühle vor dem Zimmer und auch im Restaurant sollten Sitzkissen bekommen, damit es bequem wird. Das inkludierte Frühstück ist eine Auswahlkarte mit wenigen Gerichten, es gibt noch eine extra Karte, aber diese Frühstücksgerichte zahlt man dann wieder extra. Unser Zimmer war auch leider nicht sauber. Flecken auf der Bettwäsche, viele Haare im Bad. Obwohl wir für unsere Tochter (9) 60 € pro Nacht extra bezahlen mussten, bekam sie kein extra Bett. Geld kassieren ja - Service nein. Die Wohnungen liegen an einem Berg und sind über Treppen erreichbar. Die Koffer schleppen darf man hoch und runter selbst, auch da wird keinerlei Hilfe angeboten. Statt dessen steht der Manager an der Rezeption und schaut zu wie die Gäste schwitzen. Das ist uns in keinem anderen Hotel so ergangen!
Ausstattung in den Zimmern eher schlecht: kein Fön, kein Ganzkörperspiegel, kein Fernseher (brauchen wir nicht, aber bei 4 Sternen!?), kein Stuhl, Schimmel im Bad…. Kurzum für weniger Geld wäre es ok, aber wenn ich höhere Preise verlange, sollte auch etwas geboten werden. Die Chefin versprach uns am Telefon eine Entschädigung für das schlechte Check in… darauf warten wir noch heute.

A unique place, unforgettable memories, and hospitality from the heart
Pros:

Absolutely everything about Hotel Khaban was wonderful. It is such a unique and beautiful place, with gorgeous rooms, delicious food, a lovely breakfast, and a small-scale, beautifully landscaped setting. Everything was perfect!
After we had left, we discovered in Playa del Carmen that my son had accidentally left his two beloved stuffed monkeys at the hotel. We contacted Hotel Khaban through WhatsApp, communicating in both Spanish and English. The staff went above and beyond and eventually arranged a taxi service to bring the stuffed animals to our hotel in Playa del Carmen.

My son was absolutely thrilled to have his beloved monkeys back! 🐒❤️

A huge thank you to the wonderful staff and the taxi service for the amazing service and kindness. This is truly a place with exceptional hospitality. We highly recommend Hotel Khaban!

A perfect place to slow down, read in a hammock by the lagoon, and enjoy the beauty of nature.
Pros:

A beautiful and peaceful place to experience Bacalar. The lagoon is stunning, the free kayaks are a wonderful bonus, and you are surrounded by birds and iguanas. Their restaurant is also very good, but my favorite memory was simply lying in a hammock by the lagoon, reading in complete silence and feeling that time had finally slowed down.
