remarkable hotel - highly recommended!
Pros:

A remarkable hotel! Staying here feels like travelling back in time. Every detail, especially the carefully selected antique furnishings and decorative pieces, has been thoughtfully chosen to recreate the authentic atmosphere of Plovdiv in days gone by. We were a group of six, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A truly unique place that combines history, charm, and character. Highly recommended!

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Jacuzzi im Badezimmer gebucht. Wir hatten uns darauf gefreut, am ersten Abend haben wir aber nicht geschafft es zu starten. Stattdessen hat es im Bad immer wieder sehr unangenehm nach Kloake gerochen, offenbar ein Abwasserproblem. Beim Frühstück am nächsten Morgen wurde uns auf Nachfrage gesagt, daß Jacuzzi sei kaputt. Keine Erklärung, keine Entschuldigung. Als ich dann auch noch den Gestank erwähnte (erneut wurde ich hier erstmal angeschaut als sei ich der erste Mensch mit Nase der so etwas riechen kann, wirklich unangenehm dieses seltsame Vertuschen), wurde mir gesagt, wir könnten ja auschecken. Ernsthaft? Weil ich nicht die Leistung erhalten habe, für die ich leider bereits für 2 Nächte bezahlt hatte? So eine überhebliche, machtmisbrauchende Reaktion hatte ich noch nie in meinem Leben. Wir haben uns nur noch unwohl gefühlt. Bitte mit dieser Unterkunft vorsichtig sein, bitte meiden. Beim mittelmäßigen Frühstück gab es überraschenderweise kleine Coca-Cola Flaschen und andere Qualitätsgetränke. Offenbar Restbestände des mittlerweile geschlossenen Restaurants. Weil die Getränke bereits seit über einem Jahr abgelaufen waren! Unglaublich.

A chance to stay in old Plovdiv
Pros:

A lovely hotel with plenty of character, typical for old Plovdiv.. Breakfast was simple yet plentiful. Good quality bedsheet and towels which were change daily.

Cons:

Some maintenance required in the bathroom of room 5 as tap left running all-day after reported broken. We stopped it ourselves in the end..

Beim Frühstück nach Nachfrage sofortiges wieder auffüllen😋

Cons:

Leider während der Nacht, bei etwaigen Problemen (wir hatten welche) kein Kontakt möglich. Leider nur tagsüber 😏

The Perfect Place in Plovdiv
Pros:

Naci, Jordan and Lidia were amazingly accommodating staff. They let us check in early and hold bags late. Breakfast was good and the location of the hotel is perfect for walking Old Town Plovdiv.
