Location
I suggest you install a sheer curtain so that light can pass through but it's not visible from the outside. With just the thick curtain, we couldn't open it and we weren't getting any natural light.
Great location, walking distance to many central places, clean room , comfortable bed , friendly staff
Kitchen and laundry are great additions to the room
Located on a busy street, kind of basic experience, not feeling like a real hotel no facilities,
Good if you just need a clean and comfortable place to sleep after being out all day .
Clean and spacious with a well equipped kitchen. Comfy beds, excellent air conditioning. Great location and helpful staff.
Possibly consider a slightly earlier check in time.
・The staff were all so friendly and easy to talk to. They arranged a taxi for us and kept our luggage after an early arrival and even after check-out.
・The location is excellent. Many musical theatres and multiple tube lines are within walking distance.
・We would definitely choose this place again for our next stay in London!
The only downside was the weak shower water pressure
The room was well equipped and spacious.
The air conditioning was very good and useful during the heat wave.
The location was ideal. It was centrally located so that everything in central London was 2 miles or less. I had a room in the basement without windows that was perfectly quiet all night. The room was well equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, and coffeemaker. For me, the central location, ability to sleep well, and reasonable price made it a great choice. There were plenty of places to grab breakfast in the immediate vicinity (although not inside the hotel.)
The mattress didn't seem very new. That said, I have back problems and had no trouble sleeping on it. A sign in the hall said that room service would be every fourth day. I was there for 5 nights and had my room serviced only once. Is this a new normal for London?
location is excellent. walking distance to Convent Gardens and British Museum. Staff was lovely and accommodating was able to cook breakfast in..... HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
Was not able to open any window. could not regulate air in room although they provided a fam which was helpful; onlyy complaint.
LOCATION
AIR CONDITIONING WAS NOT TURNED ON FOR THE SEASON
Lots of room, good location, very clean and the staff were so helpful and friendly.
Only small thing is that there was no long mirror in the room and no mirror next to a plug to get ready to do your hair so struggled a bit to get ready.
The location is amazing, quite but very close to areas to go out. The room was clean and new, all the room facilities were great
The double bed is a bit small
My husband and I stayed here during our April trip to London, and there were definitely some standout positives. The location was ideal — close enough to walk to most of our planned excursions, yet just far enough from the busiest tourist crowds to feel calm and manageable.
The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, which made the stay feel welcoming from the start.
I also appreciated the room layout and amenities. The space was surprisingly large for London, with a bedroom and sitting area that felt thoughtfully separated. The room came equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, and a great shower, all of which made our stay more comfortable.
While the room had potential, a few design choices made it less functional for us. Because of the layout, the TV is only viewable from the couch, not the bed — not ideal for people like us who enjoy winding down with a show before sleep.
But the biggest issue was the temperature. I had read reviews mentioning stuffy rooms, and unfortunately they were absolutely right. The room was often warm to the point of being uncomfortable, and the thermostat didn’t seem to control anything. As other guests have noted, the hotel regulates the temperature centrally, not room by room.
To make matters worse, the windows don’t open, so there was no way to let in fresh air. This led to several nights that were far hotter than we would have liked.
