The breakfast was passable. Nothing special. Not bad but not a huge selection of things...
To build the hotel. They've knocked down what was probably a lovely building and built a horrible generic office type of building. Keramikos is a nice area but it's eclectic. It's the gay quarter and actually where the hotel is, is where a lot of the drug addicts hang out. I think the brutal architecture of the hotel just creates a seedy atmosphere around it. You just want to move past it. It's totally out of keeping with the neighborhood. From the photos I thought it looked trendy. But the vibe once I was there was cheap budget hotel but somehow worse. I've no problem to stay in a cheap budget hotel.

Everything perfect
The shower box had 1/2 glass partition, therefore during the shower the water would spill out.
Walking distance to all the visiting sites. Very clean and tidy and the staff were super friendly.
The neighborhood has some ugly streets, but I found that was the case in most neighborhoods close to the tourist stuff.
We felt safe. It’s just that it’s ugly.
One night in a standard double room. The room was clean, the mattress comfortable, with a small balcony and windows that actually open. The young woman at check-in was very kind and friendly.
On the downside: there was a sewer smell in the room, which isn't really acceptable, the sink was in the room and the bathroom was tiny. For a single night it's fine, but I wouldn't want to stay longer in this kind of room.

Stanza piccola ma funzionale, con balconcino. Doccia ampia ma con porta in vetro che non chiude perfettamente. Ottima e varia colazione e personale sempre gentile e disponibile!
