When you walk into the lobby the hotel was spotless and had a very clean and pleasant smell. The rooms were extremely clean and big, a king size bed with a sitting desk area and a trundle sofa , the shower was excellent and the room had the best air conditioner temperature I have ever experienced in any hotel. The hallways were extremely clean and also had a very clean and pleasant smell. The breakfast was free and had a great variety of items which were very good. They had a coffee station through out the day and a system near the water fountain where you could fill up your water bottle. The parking was onsite and ample and the location of the hotel was close to all restaurants, shopping malls, to the Park Avenue shops and to the Saturday farmer’s market. I can’t say enough about this hotel other than I would DEFINITELY recommend it and would stay here again.
The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The rooms are extremely clean and the bedding is high quality.
During my stay there was a problem with only hot water coming out of the shower and sink.

Great location near the interstate, shopping, and historic Winter Park. The staff was very friendly. My room was clean with lots of towels.
The mattress in my room was sunken on both sides after years of use. It needed to be replaced but I still rested well. My room faced traffic, but I had packed a sound machine which muffled the noise. Lastly $15.00 a night for parking on a lot across the street with no coverage or security seems excessive.

Super strong synthetic fragranced air fresheners in the lobby and breakfast area. So toxically unpleasant! I'd always try to hold my breath every time I'd walk in and out of there. This is incredibly unhealthy and really reflects negatively on Marriot as a whole, as it is not this corporation's standard to use such products, in my experience.
Vanessa & Alexis were warm & welcoming. The room was well appointed, spacious, spotless & safe with the Most comfortable king size bed and pillows & total blackout curtains. Grateful for the Complimentary breakfast which consisted of assorted juices, coffees, teas, yogurts, scrambled or hard boiled eggs, sandwiches, bacon, sausage, breads, pastries and waffle making station. 30 minute walk to quaint Winter Park Ave for shopping & restaurants. Even closer 5 minute walk were tons of dining & shopping options. Definitely recommend for a long weekend stay.
Hotel room was best part of otherwise imperfect hotel. Room was large and clean with plenty of good lighting and a desk. However, the bed was sagging and uncomfortable and in urgent need of replacement. Breakfast was not up to usual Marriott standard. Eggs were inedible. Fruit salad did not look fresh. There was no plain yogurt available, only unhealthy sweetened yogurt. In addition, the day after departure, I discovered a $15.00 charge on my bill for parking, which was never mentioned at check-in. When I asked check-in clerk about unusual amount of hold on my credit card ($38.98), she told me it was for incidentals from shop. However, it turned out that it was related to $15.00 (plus tax) for a night of parking. This fee should be made clear up front. There is on-street parking right near hotel and I never would have agreed to this nuisance fee in a small town where street parking is available.
We always stay at this location. Staff is kind and breakfast is great.
