Safi Royal Luxury Metropolitan

Our room 1606 was next to the hotel AC units and I guess other machines that did not stop through the night. The hotel was probably half empty. Why would you assign rooms like this. I understand if this was during the week and the hotel full but not on a weekend and the hotel half empty.

The place is amazing, so fancy. We loved the hotel, bedrooms and specially thebed is so cool. thanks for receiveing us. The location is amazing in between San Pedro and Monterrey.

Our stay at Safi Royal Luxury Metropolitan was awesome! The hotel is gorgeous, our room was perfect (including the amazing view), and the staff went above and beyond taking care of our every need! We wholeheartedly recommend this beautiful resort-level hotel!

the Safi from the outside is a beautiful looking hotel. but unfortunately but a very business friendly. Was not able to connect for Teams or Zoom calls not even without the video on, had calls dropping and had to leave the hotel for business calls. Even the wifi in the lobby and restaurants was brutal. Tried to connect with management on issues before arrival, through my stay and after arrival and no manager ever reached out or acknowledged messages (no interest in any connection now). Certainly no where near a 5-star experience. The hotel was clean and quiet for sleeping. The room had a nice view but was not a nice room - not functional and poorly designed. Would certainly not return, not business friendly if you want to be productive.

Dear Management,
I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding my recent stay at your hotel during the holidays.
I booked and fully paid for a room for three nights, specifically because I was traveling to see family and friends and expected to spend time with them during my stay. To my surprise, the front desk staff refused to allow any of my guests to enter my room, stating that it was “hotel policy” because my guests were not registered at check-in.
This policy was never clearly communicated during booking or at check-in, nor was I given any explanation of how one is supposed to “register” a guest I may wish to invite later. Am I expected to predict in advance who I may meet or invite? What if I reconnect with someone unexpectedly and want them to visit or spend the night? This restriction is unreasonable and contradicts my extensive experience staying in hotels around the world.
Hotels exist to provide privacy, comfort, and flexibility to paying guests. Preventing visitors from even entering my room—despite it being fully paid for—felt excessive, outdated, and frankly unacceptable. The manner in which this policy was enforced by the front desk staff only added to my frustration and significantly diminished what should have been an enjoyable holiday stay.
I believe this policy should be clearly disclosed before booking, and its application seriously reconsidered. At the very least, guests deserve transparency and respectful communication when such restrictions exist.
I hope you will take this feedback seriously and address both the policy itself and the way it is communicated and enforced. I would appreciate a response regarding how this matter will be handled.

Security guards are rude and arrogant. They think any nicely dressed women at night are prostitutes. My female friend was asked to get out of a full elevator because she did not belong there. She got out and showed the guard her room key and he walked away without a care in the world. Once she asked the front desk to speak the manager she was told that the manager will be back in 1 hour.

everything is amazing!! the hotel, service, shower, bedroom, the swimmingpool, everything was more than excelente, definitely i would come back!
