Fantastic and would stay again when in Panama City and will definitely recommend to friends.
Pros:

The hotel is beautiful and in the heart of Old Town Panama City, enabling easy walking around to reach shops and restaurants. We especially enjoyed the free hotel history tour, which explained the origins of the buildings which make up the hotel - through its various Spanish, French and American eras. Good restaurants on-site, which we tried most of, and would definitely recommend the American Diner and Italian restaurants.

Cons:

The buffet breakfast is very expensive - especially as a family of 4 people, so we stuck to a la carte, which was more affordable.

One of the best hotels we have stayed at anywhere in the world!
Pros:

This place is AMAZING! The location, the staff, the design elements, the restaurants, the rooms, everything is worthy of a 6 star hotel. We have eaten dinner here a number of times (all the restaurants are great!) but this was the first time to stay here. And, sorry Waldorf, but this is where we will always stay when we are in Panama City. And looking forward to their other hotel as well!
