A beautiful development offering good value in tastefully presented accommodation.
Pros:

Beautiful setting with tasteful courtyard restoration. Very clean in courtyard, development and room. Excellent food in restaurant. Nice pool with changing rooms, toilets and bar/cafe. Quiet.

Cons:

Car park area was beside bin stores and was badly littered, which did not give good first impression. Some of this was cleaned up while we were there. Lift was out of action, though we were offered assistance with carrying cases to our top floor room. Swimming pool is a bit of a walk - say 100 metres away down/up steps, which felt further when the temperature was in the 30's!

Questo castello/borgo è posizionato sopra una collina da cui si vede Todi.
Il posto è molto bello, curato e pulito.
La stanza e il bagno erano puliti, spaziosi e ben arredati, anche se in modo semplice. Letto comodissimo con 2 cuscini diversi a testa. Prodotti bagno molto buoni.
Lo spazio della piscina è tranquillo e ben tenuto, con un bagno a disposizione per i clienti che rimango oltre il check out.
Area ristorante molto carina, in cui abbiamo fatto una colazione buonissima e ricca di roba.
Lo staff gentilissimo, sorridente e disponibile.

Cons:

In piscina c'erano i bambini che giocavano, tuffandosi e correndo, e facevano molta confusione e non è mai intervenuto nessuno. Visto l'idea del relais, non abbiamo gradito visto il desiderio di silenzio e relax.

The standard rooms were very small, no chest of drawers for your clothes, only 3 hangers, safe was broken, bathroom very small and dinner was cold.

Castle Petroro is absolute magic 💕
Pros:

We stayed at Borgo Petroro 13 years ago before the renovation of the property and I must congratulate the designers on such a wonderful transformation. There are now some additions such as the restaurant and swimming pool and of course upgrades to the rooms but they have retained the authenticity of the castle which is centuries old.
If you love historical places and have a desire to walk in the shadows of the past, this hotel will reveal its magic!
We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant which was delicious and sat on a cobbled patio under a starry sky and drank in the atmosphere! ❤️

Pros:

Struttura bellissima tenuta molto bene, staff molto disponibile nell'accontentare il cliente. La piscina era chiusa ma deve essere bellissima. La posizione alta ed in mezzo a vigne ed uliveti è magica.

Cons:

Orario colazione un po' breve (entro le 10).
Tutto il resto era bellissimo.
