The location is excellent, particularly being right on M Avenue, and the hotel has a modern feel with good facilities. The reception staff were very helpful and professional. We initially had an issue with our room, but they dealt with it very well and upgraded us to a King Suite, which made a big difference to our stay.
The standard rooms and Junior Suites felt quite small and lacked some of the texture, warmth and character you would expect from a hotel at this level. The finishes can feel a little plastic rather than premium. Our original room on the first floor also had a very noticeable damp smell, which meant we had to ask to move. Fortunately, reception handled this extremely well.

I was expecting a luxury hotel but I was disappointed. Bathrooms had no privacy. Shower was in open plan bedroom, as was toilet with a glass door without any seals, so anyone in the living area or the dressing area could see the person using the toilet. This was especially an issue as we had inter connecting rooms and therefore it was very difficult to have privacy. Had to use the public toilet downstairs on a daily basis. Also in the middle of the night, if the toilet light is turned on, it disturbs the other guest in the bedroom as the light is on in the whole room given its open plan layout. The pool area was very small and did not accommodate the size/number of guests in the hotel, so there was very little you could do about this given there were about a total of less than 20 sun loungers in quite a small rooftop area. The location although ideal, was also a downfall as it’s very loud in M Avenue and the rooms are not noise insulated at all, therefore guests are kept awake until after 3am with the noise. The hotel staff were also not helpful, we asked for a baby cot when booking and also when we checked in, but the request was repeatedly ignored in person and via the WhatsApp chat feature, we therefore had issues with an 11 month old baby napping during the day, as we couldn’t leave him alone, given the rooms all have tiled floors and we had to watch the baby in case he rolled off the bed. We arrived early and had requested early check-in at an additional cost from the website optional extras we were suggested, however nobody conveyed that this was not available until we arrived, given we had a very small baby and a very early flight, had we known, we would have booked an additional night or a room at another hotel. In addition the hotel staff lacked in customer care in nearly every aspect of the stay.

Concernant la propreté de la chambre. Je n’ai rien à dire l’équipe de nettoyage était au top et très professionnel. Je remercie encore Sanae, Lamia et Jamila les femmes de chambre qui se sont occupés de faire le ménage dans la chambre et qui était toujours impeccable. Le personnel dans l’ensemble est très agréable, réactif et à l’écoute des remarques qui sont faites ce qui est agréable.
Le point sur lequel je suis déçu c’est la vétustée des équipements de la chambre qui était assez vieillot et je pense mériterait d’être changé. Les équipements sont fort usés comme les meubles de la chambre ou la partie douche, les rideaux, poufs, ect…. J’ai également faire intervenir deux fois l’accueil suite à un problème de fourmies dans celle-ci. Malgré leur intervention rapide et un traitement fait suite à mon signalement les fourmies étaient très nombreuses dans la chambre.
