Dear Hyatt Place Jaipur Team,

I recently travelled from Ahmedabad to Jaipur and stayed at Hyatt Place Jaipur, Malviya Nagar. I would like to share my experience regarding my stay, food, housekeeping, and overall services.

To begin with, the check-in process was smooth and easy, which I appreciated. I had originally booked a twin room, but before check-in I requested a king room at the same price, and the reception staff accommodated my request, which was helpful.

However, after entering the room, I noticed several pamphlets displaying service pricing along with a basket containing snack packets. I assumed these were complimentary for the king room package. My child consumed a few items from the basket. Later, to clarify, I contacted the reception and was informed that these items were chargeable. After knowing this, we did not consume anything further and immediately requested the staff to remove the minibar/snack basket from the room. Despite informing the reception immediately, I was still charged INR 256 during checkout, which I found disappointing.

Apart from this, I was not satisfied with the housekeeping and room maintenance. The washroom was not properly clean, and the room service overall was not up to the standards expected from a Hyatt property.

I would also like to share my concern regarding the food arrangements. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes were being served side by side without proper separation. I personally consume eggs but do not eat chicken or other non-vegetarian food, and I found this arrangement uncomfortable and unhygienic from my perspective.

Additionally, there was no dedicated children’s play or chill area available for families. The swimming pool was also not very clean, though we had to visit multiple times because of my daughter. The water depth was shallow, and there were no proper viewing glasses or arrangements to clearly see underwater.

Overall, my experience at Hyatt Place Jaipur was not satisfactory.

Comfortable with not so great food options

Staff is supportive and room was fairly clean

Cons:

Restaurant menu is not diet friendly. Quite oily.
Also no drink(non alcoholic) option during dinner in half board. But its there in breakfast. Which was a bit illogical . Drink option should be included in dinner buffet too

Slightly Underpar
Pros:

I have stayed at Hyatt's hotels before and this is nothing compared to their usual quality. Their rooftop however is nice and the rooms are average. I would say, due to its location being outside of Jaipurs cultural areas, that if your traveling for culture, your better finding an independent haveli closer to the Pink City.

Cons:

They had big maintenance happening when I arrived in their breakfast room and wasn't informed.
