Amazing stay, great views, amazing staff, great location
Pros:

This is a GREAT hotel. Location is great (although you may need to Uber to your places, but that's kind of the same in every place in Cape Town). The staff cannot be nicer, the best. The hotel is beautiful and the view is stunning. They clean the room very frequently and are very responsive to all the requests. We simply loved this place and would come back every time we are in Cape Town. If you are thinking about it, just do it.

Cons:

The breakfast is, to my opinion, not as fresh as I'd like. But it is optional anyways.

LOVED THE GYM AND FRONT DESK STAFF, LOCATION IS NOT BAD FOR THE PRICE AND THE ROOMS WERE BIG WHICH WERE VERY COMFORTABLE. I SUGGEST THE MOUNTAIN VIEW ROOMS :)

Cons:

THE BAR AREA GETS VERY BUSY AND THE EMPLOYEESD TAKE FOREVER TO ASSIT, WAITED 28MINS FOR 1 BURGER.

Great place to stay in Cape Town
Pros:

The staff were great from start to finish, the food was good and the room was comfortable. Really enjoyed our stay

Cons:

The location wasn’t great for the hotel. We didn’t feel it was walking distance to any of our activities, especially late at night.

i would not stay at Rockfeller again and would not recommend at all !

Cons:

The bathroom soap holder was dusty and not cleaned from day 1 . i did not report it on arrival as i wanted to see if cleaning would have been done on day 2 , it was not cleaned at all , i have a picture to prove this. the parking is in the opposite building , across the street , no mention of this on the website , with 2 females travelling alone , we compromised our movements at night and compromised our holiday as dinner times were brought earlier , due to this lack of mention of the parking being in the opposite building , not safe as the people that live on the streets hung around , we felt unsafe!!
i requested a vegan breakfast when booking , the hotel did not adhere on Saturday morning as the manager said they did not receive my special request , Chef made up something on Sunday and Monday but generally food was mediocre. During the breakfast run on day 2 , the hotel did not have of 5 Roses tea bags at 9h00am for my friend. there was no basics like plant based milk or yogurts to cater for vegans. Only certain beverages are included and free in the breakfast .Most of the hot beverages are to be paid for and not included with breakfast. i had to have my coffee without milk and could not have any cereals /porridge, as there was no plant based milk through out my stay although my vegan request with discussed with the manager on saturday morning. Not happy at all !
