Pros:

The bathroom was spacious and liked having our own coffee machine in our room.

Cons:

We had a terrace room but we were on the 3rd floor and the walls were so high we couldn't even see over. There was only one chair in the room and the curtains didnt close all the way

The Kissel Uptown Oakland, peerfectly located in the heart of Uptown, exceeded every expectation.
Pros:

The location of the hotel is excellent, close to the Bart Station to take you into the city and also direct train to the airport. Excellent restuarants close by and great coffee shops

Not a place I would stay again. Extremely small room and bed was not comfortable. Do not recommend.
Pros:

People were nice and lobby was okay and newish. Room was clean.

Cons:

Rooms were tiny, and bed was really uncomfortable. Just not the quality of room I’d expect for the money. Felt very institutional and furniture was incredibly cheap and flimsy. Like IKEA but not as nice or comfy.
