Lovely friend and helpful staff, the swimming pool was great and large comfy bed

Excellent stay
Pros:

Breakfast was with an excellent selection of food, continental and asian.
Staff was excellent too, always smiling and pleasant.
Location is great if you need to go to the Embassies.
Shopping mall and great restaurants close by.
BTS Ploenchit exit close by, everything walkable in a short distance.
Will return for sure

Wifi war schwach, es gab ein großes Frühstücksbuffet, aber nur eine Sorte Tee.

Modern hotel in a quiet Soi between Sukhumvit and Lumpini park
Pros:

Hotel is modern and the staff if friendly and helpful. The rooftop pool has great views of the surrounding area and the gym is very complete. Great if you need to visit or be around this area. Feels like a hotel in a residential area. There is a nice bakery right below the hotel, but unfortunately their AC was not working while I was there.

Overall the hotel is great for people that want to be in a quiet area, but I prefer to be closer to the main areas. I think the hotel is more apt to couples or groups than solo travellers like me.

Cons:

The internet connection was very slow and I was not able to work comfortably from the hotel. Hotel is in a quiet street and you would need to walk in the heat for a while to get to the sights in the area. Their tuk tuk only take you to the BTS station, which is not helpful if you need to go to the park area.

Sehr zentrale Lage in Bangkok
Pros:

Personal war nett. Zimmer war sauber, hervorragendes Frühstück. Gute Lage: Die großen Shopping Malls (Siam) sind nicht weit, der Lumpini Park ist auch fussläufig zu erreichen.

Cons:

Im Zimmer hing permanent ein unangenehmer, leicht muffiger Geruch. Das Zimmer war auch zu klein, um sich mehrere Tage darin wohl zu fühlen.

Ruhiges Großstadthotel
Pros:

Das Frühstück war fantastisch, allein8 warme Speisen gab es, davon zwei vegetarische. Auch zeitlich war es. großzügig , man konnte bis 11 Uhr frühstücken.Der Pool auf dem Dach war schön gepflegt und man konnte die Silhouette der Wolkenkratzer dabei bewundern.Der Balkon war zwar klein, aber es war immerhin eine Möglichkeit mal draußen zu sein. In der Nähe ist der Lumpinipark, eine schöne grüne Oase im Großstadtdschungel.

Cons:

Das Hotel ist schlecht an öffentliche Verkehrsmittel angebunden. Zur Hochbahn und zur Metro läuft man eine gute halbe Stunde. Die Zimmer sind dunkel, auch tagsüber braucht man elektrisches Licht. In der Nähe gibt es ein Restaurant mit Michelinstern-einfachere Restaurants gab es nur wenige.
