The Emerald House Lisbon - Curio Collection By Hilton

We had a wonderful stay at Emerald House Lisbon, but I especially wanted to recognize Carolina from the guest services team.
Carolina checked us in and was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. During our conversation, she found out that we were celebrating our daughter Morgan’s birthday. She went out of her way to surprise Morgan with a thoughtful amenity and a handwritten note wishing her a happy birthday.
It was such a simple gesture, but it meant a lot. Morgan felt genuinely special, and it became one of the memorable moments of our stay. Those personal touches are what turn a good hotel experience into a truly memorable one.
Thank you, Carolina, for making Morgan’s birthday a little more special and for giving our family such a warm welcome to Lisbon. You are a wonderful representative of Emerald House, and we really appreciated your kindness and hospitality.

This place was amazing from the staff to the room. Carolina and André took wonderful care of us throughout our stay and made check in and check out a breeze! And my wife is still talking about how good Tiago’s espresso Martinis are. It’s also very close to a lot of attraction in Lisbon. Don’t hesitate to book! The entire staff is top tier to be honest!

Professional, courteous staff: reception team were very helpful in finding trusted vendors for activities/points of interest, housekeepers did a fantastic job making my room feel comfortable throughout my stay, and the restaurant / bar staff were attentive and kind. Highly recommend The Emerald House as it’s located in a walkable neighborhood and close to public transit, making it easy to navigate throughout the city.

I had a very good 4 night stay at Emerald House. The hotel is clean and inviting . Staff are very professional, capable and friendly. My room although smallish had everything I needed apart from a view. Breakfast was always excellent and dishes were quickly replenished as needed. Food was fresh and of good quality. Coffee machines enable you to make it as you like it! The location of the hotel is quiet and there is a little park diagonally across the road where you can sit and admire the Tagus River.
Happy Hour is a clever touch as it is welcoming and provides snacks. So drinks aren’t cheaper but you get something to eat included.
Sadly the big museum adjacent was under renovation and thus closed as I was hoping to visit. So it will have to be next time!

We had a wonderful stay at The Emerald House in Lisbon. The location was fantastic, making it easy to explore the city, and the happy hour was a great way to relax after a day of sightseeing.
What really stood out, though, was the customer service. Every member of the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. They were always happy to provide directions, recommendations, or anything else we needed to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible
The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well appointed, and we truly had absolutely no complaints . We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend The Emerald House to anyone visiting Lisbon.

From the moment we arrived, Carolina made our stay unforgettable. Her warmth, helpfulness, and genuine hospitality truly set her apart. We were very happy with our upgraded rooms. She also personally set us up with an incredible private tour with Jorge, that became the highlight of our trip.

The included breakfast and dining was excellent. The entire team delivered excellent service, and Carolina’s attention to detail and thoughtfulness really made all the difference. If you’re planning a visit to Lisbon, you’re in amazing hands with her.

I cannot say enough about the service, facilities, friendliness, and professionalism of the hotel and its staff. Every single one was great and took care of all our needs and wants. I wish I could mention them all, but two names come to my mind. Carolina at the front desk made everything possible to check us in earlier and Tiago at the bar was very accommodating. Highly recommended!!!

We had a very nice stay at The Emerald House in summer 2026. This was booked through a travel agency so we didn't really go about selecting the property ourself and therefore sort of had blank slate expectations. The staff was always kind and helpful. The property was clean and rooms had everything you needed. They were a little small on space, but that's to be expected with many European hotels. Breakfast was solid with a lot of options - we tended to prefer the multitude of non-hot options there. Bar service for drinks in the evening was very good, and Tiago in particular was helpful with suggestions and great with conversation. The only two points for concern with us were that you could only turn the AC down to a certain point and then no further (our room was hot at night) and the location was further from the city center than we realized (and that's on us, not the property).

The Emerald house Lisbon, Curio collection by Hilton is an example, that perfection can be touchable. Details, interior design, amenities and location are just wow. When you enter the hotel and meet Mrs. Annabelle, maravilhosa girl from front desk staff, congratulations, you win. This adorable lady was the master of service. Hilton is all about how Mrs. Annabelle works, just bravo. Also Mr. Andrè was so smiley, gentle and very helpful. Guys, you made us love not only Emerald house, but also Lisbon. I want to mention Mr. Paulo from Food and Beverage department, he was so kind. My special thanks to Mrs. Diana for an elegant tea. Im so touched. Thanks and muito obrigado one more time. Mrs. Annabelle, your service will be a good example that I want to show with my teammates. Will miss you all.

Convenient location and very nice neighborhood! Easy walking access to many stores and restaurants. Staff was very friendly and accommodating! They made me feel very welcome!

Lovely hotel with decent sized rooms and situated in a good location. Only disappointed that we had to move rooms on our last night as they couldn’t accommodate single beds for our whole stay - they did make sure it was on the same floor as the rest of the family though.
Breakfast was yummy, not many hot options but they would make an omelette or fried egg if requested (scrambled would be provided on the hot trays). Lots of pastry options though!

I spent 4 lovely days at this hotel. I was initially going to stay only for one night but a change of plans caused me to arrive earlier. They were so incredibly accommodating. Sofia F. at the front desk was especially helpful. She had no idea that we had a bad snafu in our trip that caused us to rearrange our travels and arrive much earlier than anticipated. Regardless she was patient and ever so helpful. She made our trip so much better and less stressful. She was amazing!!!

The rooms are spacious and clean. Staff is responsive and kind. Highly recommend!!

The location was perfect for exactly what we needed! The staff went above and beyond! I have never worked with such a friendly staff like this before. I would come back simply for them!

The room was great, bed comfortable, pillows terrible, but I think that is pretty common to Europe. Bathroom was big and spacious. Breakfast was included and sufficient with hot and cold options. Pretty good location, easy to navigate to different areas of Lisbon with bused pretty much outside the front door and a trams and trains down the road. Public transport is easy to navigate in Lisbon. 3 stars because on my last night (6 nights in the hotel) I decided to eat dinner in the hotel restaurant. The waiter was rude, offered me to sit at a table that wasn't set and every other table was set and not a single person at the table. I thought this was weird. The menu is ok but not huge. I chose the fish with rice and grilled vegetables. Overall it wasn't terrible but the vegetables, which were seperate in a little oven dish were stone cold. They offered me water, I said yes, (Same tap water and bottle that I get in my room free very day x 2) I then was charged 3 euro for the tap water, if I had of known (which I didn't, it's tap water) I would have brought my own. On top of that, when I went to pay the bill, the 2 couples sitting at the bar, all of their drinks were on my bill!! Be careful and check your account closely, it's easier when you're travelling solo to pick these things up. But yes, I know, don't eat in hotel restaurants.

We found The Hilton Emerald House on a search on the American Express travel site. It had good reviews and the photos looked nice so we decided to book it. It exceeded our expectations. The hotel is very charming and well appointed. The room was large with a comfortable bed. The staff were all very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. It is in a quieter part of town, which we liked. We would gladly stay there again!

The Reception people were excellent. Sophia went above and beyond helping me with the doors and windows in the room. Late checkout at 2 PM was very much appreciated and also are arranged by Sophia. Gabrielle and Annabel were also fabulous.

My wife and I stayed at The Emerald House Lisbon during our first visit to Lisbon, which was also a special trip to celebrate both my birthday and our anniversary.

The hotel’s location is very convenient. There is a bus stop just a 1-minute walk away, and the tram stop within 5 minutes, making it easy to explore the city.

Upon arrival at around noon, our room was not yet ready for check-in. However, Annabella at the front desk warmly welcomed us and kindly arranged for us to leave our luggage while we continued exploring Lisbon. When we returned in the evening, she informed us that our luggage had already been delivered to our room, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture.

We were pleasantly surprised to receive a room upgrade. The room was spacious, bright, and featured a private terrace, which was perfect for enjoying Lisbon’s beautiful sunny weather. As a special touch, the hotel also prepared a birthday cake for us, making our celebration even more memorable.

The overall hotel facilities were very good. The breakfast area was comfortable and relaxing, and as the hotel was not overcrowded during our stay, everything felt spacious and enjoyable.

The only area that could be improved is housekeeping. While the room was generally clean, we noticed some signs that certain items may not have been cleaned thoroughly before our arrival. There were visible hairs on the dining table light fixture and on some of the towels, which slightly affected our first impression of the room.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would like to thank Annabella, Diana/ Daina? and the team for helping make our first trip to Lisbon such a memorable experience. With a little more attention to housekeeping details, this hotel would be close to perfect.
