Sea view was beautiful. Comfortable bed. Pretty room.
Bit noisy.
It was a comfortable room. Quiet and close to the seafront and shops.
It was hard to find your way around the hotel. It needs more signage for exits etc. I ended getting lost twice. Some of the sensor lights don’t switch on quickly enough and found my self entering a corridor that was totally dark and I had to use my torch until the light came in. Only a few steps but the light should be in before you enter a dark corridor. When I initially booked through Booking .com I didn’t see that check in was at 5.30. My train arrived at 5.50. The receptionist said there was nothing could be done apart from cancel or lose my money. The customer service I thought wasn’t very sympathetic.

Hotel doch sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Defekte Fenster, nicht zu öffnen, deshalb war es sehr warm und stickig im Zimmer.
Direkte Strandlage, aber dazwischen ist die vielbefahrene Hauptstraße, auch nachts sehr laut.
Frühstück gibt es erst ab 9 Uhr..... für uns leider zu spät da wir zur Fähre in Dover mussten.
Wir haben die letzten Jahre sehr viele Hotels über Booking.com gebucht, aber dieses hier hat uns wirklich enttäuscht.
I was in small single room. It was beautifully decorated. The bed was comfortable and the view was incredible.
Not a criticism at all, just a note, all the places I’ve gone have let me store my backpack somewhere if I’m in town early. I was told I couldn’t when I asked at the desk. As well, the big gorgeous windows do not open.

Die Unterkunft war sauber. Das Bad war groß und die Größe des Zimmers war auch okay.
Das Bett war sehr unbequem. Man hat leider die Federn der Matratze sehr stark gespürt.
Es war sehr warm, als wir dort waren. Das Zimmer hatte keine Klimaanlage, was okay ist. Der bereitgestellte Ventilator hat so laute Geräusche gemacht, dass man ihn nachts nicht laufen lassen konnte.
Man musste bis spätestens 17:00 Uhr einchecken. War für uns, die einen Roadtrip gemacht haben, etwas unpraktisch.

Shame the restaurant was closed (but understandable due to heat wave). Goat ledge opposite was fabulous though.
