Nice property but 10 dollars a day to park gotta go
Pros:

It was close to many restaurants. Right off major highway. The rooms were clean with a nice kitchen. It was quiet. I couldn't hear neighbors through the walls .

Cons:

Charging for parking in a rural area is not cool. The parking was on their property not private as This is a money grab as there was plenty of space. Inner city hotels do it providing security or when it's very congested and no space to park. There was no security or enclosed lot . Tv reception could be better. The picture seemed to break up a lot .

Some good some meh.
Pros:

The nice room. Needs a bathroom fan.

Cons:

Dog that yapped all night long in neighboring room. No bathroom fan. Fire pit not being turned on in 50° weather? Why not?

It was fine.
Pros:

It was convenient and the rest of my family was staying there.

Cons:

Breakfast choices could have been better. Our room lost power to the bedroom on the last night of our stay. It was unable to be fixed and they offered us a new room but we were on our way out to a wedding. Room was a little shabby and the pillows were awful. We had four in our party, but were only five three towels and a single pillow for the sofa bed.

Explanation of additional nights fee needs to be communicated.
Pros:

The breakfast was plentiful and well cooked.

Cons:

I did not like that I was charged a different and more sizeable fee for an additional night and nobody could tell me why.

Overnight stay
Pros:

This was our first time in a Home 2 Suites by Hilton. I booked this hotel due to its location to the VCU Ambulatory Surgical Center which was directly across the parking lot.
The king bed room was spacious and very clean. If we were traveling with kids there was a sofa bed with a dividing curtain for a bit of privacy. The bathroom was very clean and the shower head was great. There was a kitchenette with no stove but a hotplate and skillet were available upon request.
They offer an above average breakfast starting at 6am, offering eggs, sausage, fruit, hot oatmeal and waffles. Coffee and tea are available 24/7.
Be aware of the $10 self parking fee. Also, I didn't like the pillows but Im a bit particular about those and I brought my own as I usually do. Overall a great night's sleep.
