Disgusting, hotel didnt clear the rooms at all!
Cons:

I have traveled to over 70 countries and usually try to stay at Marriott properties, but I never imagined I would go through what happened at this hotel in Asheville.
1- A week before arriving, I have requested few times an early check-in via Booking and direct email, as I had a meeting in the city. They never replied. When I arrived and asked why I hadn't received a response, I was told: "We are very busy and don't have time to answer."
2- Despite asking daily for my room to be cleaned once a day—since the windows were sealed shut and I suffer from severe allergies—they completely ignored my requests. The room was cleaned only every 4 days; it was disgusting, with dirty towels and bed linens. Unbelievable. I made daily requests to the front desk, specifically to the person in charge, Rebecca, and the manager, William Preble. They completely ignored me throughout my nine-night stay.
3- The hotel did not provide water for guests to take to their rooms. On several days, I returned late from work, and the only water available was a small plastic bottle which should be complimentary for guests.;(The only water available to guests for free was in a pitcher with ice and lemon, but I didn't have a bottle, and I can't consume ice.). On other days, there were no bottles at all. I was never informed that the water would be charged for—as it was presented as a courtesy—but at checkout, I was surprised by the charges on my bill. They charged me over $5.00 for each bottle of water, whereas the cost in the city was $1.00. Curiously, they never disclosed the price during my stay, and upon checking the bill, I saw that a random amount had been charged each day.
4- On my check-out day, I dealt with the manager William Preble , who consistently refused to clarify the charges on my bill.

Immaculate suite with usable kitchenette

Spotlessly clean. Usable kitchenette. Walkable to Downtown. Amazing big storage cupboard.

Great place and wonderful staff!
Pros:

We had a wonderful experience! The hotel was very clean and room was spacious and modern. Excellent location to downtown. The staff were all so nice and helpful. We definitely would stay here again!

Hotel Nice, Watch your Payments though.
Pros:

The property is much better than the location, staff friendly, nice gym, good rooms. The problem is with the payments. I paid before arriving, then they put a full payment through again when I paid the car parking. Receptionist said it would be returned, it’s 3 weeks later and I’m still trying to get my money back. Marriott should not behave in such a way & having contacted them directly their customer service is poor too.

Clean and easy to access with direct roads to downtown.

Cons:

Can’t blame the property, but we arrive during an unprecedented snowstorm and the roads were a bit difficult getting in.
