Good hotel for short stay
Pros:

The property was in a good location for us. We visited the local temples and walked back to the hotel without needing to get a train or taxi.

Breakfast was good and allowed us to try a Japanese style breakfast, the creamy curry was my favourite, but also provided some cereals and bread for those with a Western palate.

Staff were happy to order a taxi on our behalf once we had checked out, and able to break a large note into smaller notes for us (there is a 7/11 with an atm inside, close by.
This hotel had plenty of amenities you could take (razors, bath salts, sun cream sachets etc)

We booked a connecting room. Room was big enough for our one night stay, and was pleased it had a kettle in the room. We could use the coffee or teas provided at reception in the amenities area to take up to the room.

We would be happy to stay here again.

Good place for comfort and location.
Pros:

Nice and clean, good size room with everything that is needed.

Cons:

Not the hotel's fault but very noisy breakfast with tourists that are invading Kyoto.
In Tokyo it feels more peaceful.
