A sign to 'push ' might avoid confusion, when working out how to exit shower, No other issues
Breakfast mediocre. Bread and pastries quite dry, and not fresh. Bad in comparison to what other chain hotels have to offer. Lipstick on the pillows also not nice. I also don't appreciate the lack of attentiveness of staff to guests, and then receiving SMS text messages on the phone to ask how I am doing. I would rather have it the other way: being recognized and greeted by staff while at the premises, and then not receiving these messages on the phone, which I perceive as invasive.
Location good
The £15 charge for miscellaneous items, enforced by the reception staff. They said it was just in case I charged some items ie room service. I told them I wasn't going to use room service or charge anything to the room but they insisted I paid it when we booked in. I've stayed in other hampton hotels and was never charged on arrival. They said it was their policy and they would refund it when I checked out if I didn't use it.There was no warning of this charge that I recall when I made the booking . I was made to feel like I was an awkward customer. I was surprised it wasn't mentioned before.

Location perfect, staff were great ,the room was large and comfortable and the Aircon worked !
Breakfast is very stressful, it's a free for all.Trying to find a table without somebody taking it while you're getting your coffee was not enjoyable. People getting annoyed, the card system which should show if the table is free doesn't work. The breakfast food available is good , machine coffee not so good!

The bed wasn’t very comfortable
The location was perfect for easy access to most of the places in Bath that I wanted to see and a very easy walk from the station. A small touch but I liked the breakfast table reservation system with the red or green cards. Lovely hot shower and controls that made sense instead of the mysterious blocks of metal I have seen in other hotels. Good sized bath towels too.
I was a little chilly and couldn't find a spare blanket and didn't manage to persuade the room thermostat to warm me up. I'm sure I could have asked for an extra blanket at reception as everyone was very obliging, but it was rather late.
Location perfect. Buffet breakfast was good but everyone scattered around the reception area.
We didn’t like eating in the busy reception area.
