We stayed in Tower 2 unfortunately we were not aware of the Tower 2 was not in full operation e.g we had no access to walk through Tower 2 to the Promenade/ restaurants /casino we had to walk around outside where it was windy and wet and did not feel safe walking through late in the evening.
The lifts were problematic as not in full operation, passage ways on the floors were like a wind tunnel we did speak to reception and they did acknowledge the issue.
Perhaps we should have been notified prior to booking.
New and clean, good facilities with pool but not the same pool as in picture.
Complicated access, no housekeeping, pop-up check-in with staffs showing little warmth, also very far from lifts. Renovation is still on with walls and lifts taped all over. Lifts screen did not work properly on pool level, but luckily someone stops at the level so we can reach the lobby. Pool doesn’t look like the picture, but still good with a view and sauna and steam room. Staffs are very cold unfortunately.
Brand new rooms and building great view from level 47 pool was okay very small but an awesome view from the 22nd floor the sauna was okay took a long ride to warm up but the steam room work straight away as long as you figured out the button, but the view from the sauner and steam room was great as you were 22 floors up looking towards the Beach South

The beds rock hard like sleeping on the ground the rooms are very small as well as the lounge room couches were quite comfy

The stay was the worst experience I have had staying in any accommodation
In our stay at the star residence,this accomodation the process from communication whilst booking to then we had to acquire more pillows which was a mission in itself . The plumbing from above floor could hear what sounded like an alarm every time a person who used the water .
To even get booked in the staff were rude and unhelpful . Couldn’t not even get a trolley to get luggage . No help from staff thru the whole process. There was a blind broken and unit was directly facing the sun . Air con wasn’t working and had to get maintenance. Couldn’t get room service as there was issues with facilities according to reception.
The view
They cancelled 2 of the rooms my daughter booked for her wedding and didn’t advise her. It was a fight to get them rebooked the day before the wedding.

The rooms were amazing, great facilities and easy to use and the was amazing. I can’t complain about the functionality of the room.
On the first night we were on level 37 and had the most annoying loud noise. Rang reception and she knew straight away what it was, it was the hot water meter but I don’t understand if you have issues like that the place wouldn’t get the fixed or not people in that room until it was fixed.
The lady at reception was amazing and tried her best to accommodate us to another room but unfortunately there was nothing until our second night so we had to put up with the most annoying loud noise every time someone used hot water!! Not good enough for the price we paid.

OMG, the lifts. Allow 15 minutes to either get to the top or bottom.
