Clean, comfortable and convenient for Sandy Park
Pros:

Big room, clean, friendly staff and good breakfast. I have an egg allergy and when I spotted someone putting the spoon for the beans in scrambled eggs. They changed replaced the beans within a min, no questions asked. Really pleased.

Cons:

I also have a seafood allergy. At the bar in the evening I ordered a Poke Bowl as it as labelled vegan and vegetarian. I told the member of staff my allergies and she then came to tell me that the shed said the sauce has fish sauce in it. They need to amend their bar menu. Probably lots of vegans and vegetarians have been eating fish!

Wonderful stay and highly reccomend
Pros:

Loved the location of the hotel as we were visiting the stadium so a very short walk once dressed up. The location would also be good for being close to Exeter Town too.

We also really liked the breakfast room - incredible views and the upstairs bar was lovely.

Cons:

Ok - so, this wasn't exactly a "didn't like", but definitely a "hmmmm, interesting choice".

So the bedroom had the ensuite bathroom - which was fantastic. However, the wall facing into the bedroom, in full view of the bed, was kind of - semi-transparent.

At first I thought - ooooo sexy, you can see the silhouette of your partner in the shower/getting dressed - how romantic. That was the fantasy.

The REALITY was - after a wonderful evening and plenty of food and drink, we both fell into a wonderful sleep (great comfy beds). However - I had to get up half way through the night (too much good food and drink) - so I turned the bathroom light on, but due to the wall being semi-transparent the light beemed through our bedroom like a flood light and woke my husband up. Im sure he was super happy about that. Anyway, when you gotta go you gotta go - so i tried to be quick. One thing to note is that the toilet is right up against Z wall. SO, instead of seeing his sexy wife getting out of the steamy shower and seeing her naked silhouette seductively getting dressed - he got woken up in the middle of the night by flood lights, and amongst being partially blinded, he seeked the source of Z light only to see his "sexy" (questionable after this experience) wife's silhouette sat taking a s*** on the toilet.

SO - I love the idea of the see through toilet wall - it just didnt do me well on this occasion.

Overall good
Pros:

Breakfast very good , meal in the View restaurant good. And staff very polite and helpful. I don’t expect to be charged for tap water though.Car park large and free very good.

Cons:

I know it sounds silly but a good room, bathroom excellent but why spoil it with cheap toilet rolls. Honestly don’t think I’ve had such poor quality for years in a hotel .
